So as of the updated rules for production, can grind my safties flat? I don't want the single sided flat safety .

Thanks

Should I be concerned about these machine marks on the barrel down by the peanut? If so how should I remove them?
-
You can wiggle the pin in my slide stop. My other slide stop pin in my other stock 2 does the same thing. I have no problems with the back up.
-
The gun is clean, that was the first thing i did. If it was a recoil spring i think it would happen more consistently rather than a couple times on a stage. I have shot a stock 2 for 3yrs. And never had a problem with my thumb coming in contact with the slide. I just bought this gun off some one who just threw parts in the gun. I went through the gun fitted and polish everything to make is correct. The slowing down part i think is when the slide is moving to the rear of the gun. It doesn't cause any malfunctions or feeding problems. And yes this is a question if anyone has experienced this problem. Thanks for all or any input.

For the last 2 matches i have noticed the slide cycling oddly like something is hanging up or slowing it down. It only happens a couple times per stage, and have not had a chance to reproduce the problem in practice yet. Nothing in the gun looks like there is unusual markings or wear on any of the parts. It is a stock 2 with 1 piece sear, titan hammer, bolo, ex.firing pin block, henning guide rod, 8lb. Recoil spring, and the barrel is reamed. I can definitely say it is not a ammo problem.

I'm running android tablets for praticscore. How do you create a master shooter list so when people sign in their name is already there. We have just been loading a previous match so the people's names come up....but im sure there is a better way
-
Yeah I do have a set of them and I do like them.

How thin are the Lok gips in comparison to the scales. Do they have any palm swell or are they flat
-
Besides the new par times, is there any new drills or info in this book? I have his last dry fire book.

Should I clean up the burrs and keep shooting it?
-
It's a 9. I got the gun used and I have about 20k through it.
-
Yeah I do have the same kind of marks in the top of my side. I know how the barrel and slide sit together but I was just concerned because it look like something is getting hammered.

Has any one ever seen these wear marks on their barrel of their Stock 2 ? The gun runs with no problems.

2017 OHIO STATE MATCH
stickboy44 replied to Sarge's topic in Match Announcements - Pistol Only - USPSA, IPSC & Misc.
Thanks to the Match Director and staff for a great match! -
If the ammo is loaded short enough that it passes the plunk test, is reaming a barrel going to fix light strikes
-
The hammer goes half the distance in DA compared to SA. I did hit the wing of the BOLO and i habe a factory plunger spring. I polished that area pretty good where the bolo contacts the trigger bar.
-
I just seen on the PD web site that they recommend the Extreme sear and titan hammer installed with the bolo. I screwed up the first bolo i tried to install, the second one works but im not sure the hammer in DA is coming back far enough..that could be my light strike problem in DA
-
Is the EAA / Tanfoglio Witness 1 Piece Sear and the Extreme sear the same besides the finish?
-
I feel I'm plenty deep on the primers
-
No but I will try one. I have only ran wolf and PD hammer springs.
-
I have been having some light strikes too. Everything in my S2 has been polished twice. It only happens on DA. I have a Titan hammer, 1-piece sear (not extreme), bolo, extend firing pin block, PD: firing pin and spring, PD hammer springs from 12 to 15.5 lbs. I'm currently running the 14lb. hammer spring. Things I have ruled out of being the problem: removed firing pin block, polished the crap out of everything, I do have a factory plunger spring in the gun, ammo is not a problem (I'm running winchester primers) and my OAL. is good (pass the plunk test)...
