  1. I run around my house dry-firing my pistol at door knobs and practice loading my shotgun. That's all I've ever done for practice.
  2. I use the Miculek. It works, but it's loud. It seems louder than a lot of other brakes out there.
  3. Excellent match, Bryan, Brian and Ben. It was probably my best performance to date considering the crowd. It's a good thing Mr. Ray was there to keep me humble...
  4. I appreciate you all playing nicely and keeping the data normally distributed. I have the +6 tube installed and will try it out for a match or two.
  5. Thanks for your input, everyone. 6-round tube is on the way!
  6. Still working on it. We're still on track for me to be shooting one at the Pro-Am in August though.
  7. You can tell a Sportsman from a distance as they do not have black over-molded grip panels. Instead, they are camo. Also, they do not have the cheek pad.
  8. I'm strongly considering switching my shotgun from 8+1 to 10+1. I've shot too many stages where I shot 2 or 3 at the buzzer and would have liked to load 4 on the move.
  9. Anybody know if results are posted somewhere? I didn't get to look at the stage results while I was there.
  10. You all missed out on a great match, even if I did get whipped by the entire Miculek family! It was a little lot wet on day 1, but the stages were great. There were some stages with decent distance and some that indulged the quick trigger pullers (myself included). Well done, Gary!
  11. I'm looking forward to it! I wish it was a little more rifle heavy, but I understand accommodating for the lack of ammo available.
  12. This is my 3 gun pistol. Glock 34 gen 3 Dawson sights Finger grooves removed, double trigger guard undercut, and stippling by Mod 1 Firearms Polished fire control TTI base pads
  13. It's a container, often a barrel, that you place your gun in when changing weapons during a stage. Many times, the gun is not placed gently into the barrel.
  14. Yeah that would definitely affect your POI!
  15. This is correct. Heavier bolt -> more inertia and spring compression. It's been a while since I shot a Vinci, but the ones I shot had a very unnatural reach to get to the trigger. I wonder if they're addressed this in the grip angle...
  16. Very cool! You seem to know a lot about it, did you have a lot of involvement in the project? Only in the idea generation phase. Other guys in my group handled the implementation. I've followed it pretty closely because I can't wait to start using one in competition!
  17. They're not the easiest things to load as they come, nor are they very popular nowadays, but I know a few people who run them quite well.
  18. That muzzle attachment is a new one on me. I'm continually amazed at the good looking pistols you guys post. This is no exception!
  19. Great to see it in the public eye, huh? This gun has some great improvments, I wish they would have shown a better picture! An engineer at a large firearms company who listened to the shooters for a change! It is an amazing thing.... I think everyone will find that the complaints they had with the VMT have been well taken care of with this rendition. Maybe Remington has some engineers who ARE shooters.
  20. I've been storing a Lancer mag in a Condor pouch that I have laced into my Uncle Mikes belt. No issues here.
  21. Production will most likely be after August, but I won't necessarily be shooting a production version.
  22. I believe most of the common mods that people tend to do on the Tactical (besides the trendy bolt lightening cuts) are reflected to this model.
  23. I believe you'll be pleased with the new carrier.
