  1. On display at the NRA show. I see a rear sight dove-tailed into the rib! I hope to be shooting one at the Pro-Am in August.
  2. I built my first 3 gun rifle pretty much exactly like that one. The only differences were a S3G trigger, Miculek comp, micro gas block, and 1-4x scope on mine. I shot 5 or 6 matches last year with it, zero malfunctions. I shot well with it. I really like that handguard as well. I kept the rail on the bottom and put a ladder-style rail cover on it. I used it both as a gripping surface and as a sacrificial piece if a stage required resting on concrete or some other rough surface.
  3. I got this little beauty in the mail this afternoon and thought there would be some interest. This mount seems to be everything I had wished my RAMP was. Here is a weight comparison: Complete RAMP mount. RAMP w/o rails Skeletonized Mount I'd be happy to answer any questions. I would be interested to see how the weight stacked up against some of the other popular mounts (LaRue etc.). JR
  4. Going from a G22 with standard connector to a G34 with the "-", I saw a huge difference (increase) in my ability to control the trigger.
  5. I shot my first match with my VX6 Multigun last Saturday at BGSL engaging targets from 5 to 175 yards. I found the scope to be very easy to get behind and gain a sight picture from standing, kneeling and prone. The dot was very visible and helped a ton with getting the reticle on target. I give it a lot of credit in a 3rd place stage finish on the "long range" stage. I didn't have to change magnification on the clock, but I think the Switchview is a wise investment for this optic.
  6. I use live ammo to practice as well, but I remove the bolt handle to keep rounds out of the chamber. Nice loading!
  7. Will the bolt lock back after shooting the last shell? It almost looks like a power issue. Maybe something else changed while you were modifying the carrier. Also, your ejection port is on the wrong side.
  8. BGSL in March will be my first match of the year. I'll be with the Remington dudes. I just rebuilt my rifle with some new goodies, so hopefully its maiden voyage goes well!
  9. Same for me, and I keep a 30 rounder on my belt in case something flies apart. I also keep a 20 rounder in my bag but have yet to need it.
  10. Hey there. I figured I'd join the fun. I shot my first 3 gun match last January. I competed in 5 or 6 matches last year at BGSL and Owensboro. I also shot at the Pro-Am. I'm looking forward to sharing ideas as I get ready for this year's matches.
