  1. i ordered 10 of them from cdnn. they arrived yesterday but i have yet to tear open the pkg.
  2. cdnn had them on sale for 5.99 each.
  3. looks good, how does it shoot?
  4. my gun with a 15 pound spring is sluggish with 170 powerfactor loads. i couldnt get a 13 pound spring to work 100% unless the gun was totally squeaky clean. this is just my opinion though...with bullet prices the way they are today it seems to be a waste to shoot those beautiful montana gold bullets at minor power factor...and N320 didnt burn that clean in my gun even at major..
  5. there are three pin gen 2 guns. they have a totally different locking block, (one that is out of production) but this is neither here nor there. specifically i was inquiring about potential problems with the installation in regard to the front set of holes and mounting on the different frame. not all frames measure the same externally either. the older ones tend to vary more than the newest
  6. different locking blocks too. the gen 2 guns are slightly different internally.
  7. what caveats are there to mounting SJC on a second gen Glock 22?
  8. sure does look good. i would like to have that M&P....im not normally a fan of them though.
  9. 231 works great with 9mm..but so does titegroup. i like 231 because it works better with lead bullets and its about the same price.
  10. mg 124 jhp. precision delta 124 fmj
  11. they smoke a little. just like the precision bullets..except not as much as the precisions. the coating is applied a touch thicker than Dave's bullets. And for point of fact. it is not the lube on a cast bullet that creates the smoke. it is the exposed lead and it's interaction with the burning gunpowder. I have shot the bullets with no lube whatsoever and they still smoke. place a Gas Check on a cast bullet and the smoke nearly goes away.. the coating protects the base of the bullet better thus reduces smoke. the process of coating the bullets evenly and not getting that black stuff everywhere is challenging..but I have almost got it down to where i can make some larger equipment to do 50K at a time. [edit] BTW the Alloy is home blend 90-5-5 not the 92-6-2 stuff that most cast bullets are made out of..
  12. home made bullets coated with the moly/poly coat. they shoot just as good, if not slightly better.. still perfecting the coating method..but these look pretty good.
  13. i like it too. it is really accurate in my 40 caliber guns.. i load 185 precisions over 4.1 grains for my 6 inch gun. at 1.125-1.135 oal.
  14. good to hear from you brothers..
  15. i think you will only create headache with lead bullets in a major 9mm. jacketed bullets i am afraid will be your only way to go..
  16. i like the 230s best. they just feel right. i never did like the SWC profile in the 45. .. i load jacketed bullets over clays or titegroup and cast and moly coated over WST
  17. i think 231 with hornady 115 grain XTP loaded to about 1125 fps shoot about as accurately as anything ive tried.

    Glock 35 KaBoom!

i had a case head let go on my glock 24. it wrecked the extractor, spring, spring loaded bearing and that rod that lives in there with all that other stuff. the load was pretty mundane. 4.3 grains TITEGROUP, Montana Gold 180 JHP at 1.135 oal. the piece of brass was winchester. i had a KKM barrel in the gun. the case failed in the extractor groove and aside from the obvious crack. no other indications of high pressure.
  19. never have, they look like good bullets with a good price.
  20. i can get .65 draws at 10 yards on a IPSC target or Popper with my non dropped, non offset holster made by comp tac. just pick one and practice. those twenty dollar uncle mikes kydex holsters are pretty good for the money.
  21. i think that was my clays load at 5.0 grains, 1.210 oal it makes 175 powerfactor out of my storm lake barreled glock 21. 4.6 inches long. i was trying to duplicate the feel of a 40 caliber 180 major load... it was a good load, but not really what i like to see in the sights.
  22. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=89683&hl=longslide&st=0 there goes my answer...hidden in over 1000 search results.
  23. the 22 recoils harder than the 35. the glock isnt going to hold you back...unless you believe that it is. i have an STI limited gun but still shoot the glock in limited because it is faster for me. I can still hang them on the paper at 50 yards and hose em with the best of them at the closer ranges. i shot my glock 22 from unclassified to A class in six months. Then a model 24 from A to Master. Get a timer, do some dryfire and then impress your shooting friends at the match.
  24. are they legal for limited? i want to build either a M20 or a 21 top end 6 inches long with a 40 caliber barrel in the 20 or a 45 in the 20 for limited. anyone know if theyve made 500 yet?>
  25. 320 is not as good as Clays in the 45. it may not smoke as much but the trade off is more powder, more expensive powder and dirtier burn as it doesnt clean up until you get near 190 pf with lead bullets. if you must burn VV powder, N310. if your looking for the least smoke with lead bullets WST. if you want the most smoke: TiteGroup.
