  1. I noticed a lot less sway when I went back to a heavier gun on offhand rifle shots.
  2. No problem, You'll love it. I couldn't imagine shooting without one now...the thumbrest.
  3. Swaro, cause the glass is unfreaking believable, and the reticle lines up almost perfectly with my loads out to 600 with a 40 yard zero.
  4. I would rather pay someone, be without my shotgun for a month.
  5. Mines got several thousand on it, not sure of the round count. It did it every stage, so I just manually put one on the lifter. Took it to my gunsmith this morning, it worked every time of course. Lol
  6. It's right by Joplin, MO. I'm heading down to Texas this weekend for a match. I might be able to catch you on the way back, if I don't figure it or before then.
  7. Problem is still there. Shot a match today. It only does it when pressing the button, not shooting it. I guess I will have to break down and take it somewhere.
  8. I use a 40 yard zero with my 75gr Hornady's going 2650 fps. I can aim center dot to 225, then my dots and hashes line up almost perfectly out to 600.
  9. A little late notice, but there is a 3 gun match Saturday October 4th. Sign up are at 7 am. There will be 5 stages. Round count approximately 100 ea gun, 10-15 slugs. Cost is $40. I'm not running the match, I just realized the guy that is isn't on here. The last match he did was awesome. We shot out of an apc, through windows across valleys into other buildings. It was really fun, especially for his first match. They're only gonna get better. I'll let everyone know sooner next time.
  10. Both of mine took a little fitting. Just an fyi, I worked with blade-tech to get a wrs holster made for fldc 2011's thumb rests for 3 gun. I just modified my regular blade-tech holster to work with my limited gun.
  11. I am talking about the shell release button, I believe Tommy3 guns is talking about the bolt release.
  12. I've shot about 300 rounds through it since cleaning the trigger assembly, it hasn't done it again...yet. Hopefully that's all it needed.
  13. You either need different chokes for different shot distances, and heavy props, or different shotgun shells. I chose the chokes, cause it's cheaper in the long run.
  14. I didn't see any burr's. If it continues to do it, I'll take it back apart.
  15. It's never had an issue while shooting, it's just been the shell release button giving an occasional problem. Hopefully cleaning it thoroughly will fix it. If not I'm leaning towards the bottom of the hammer where it interacts with the button.
  16. Just thought id let everyone to know bladetech is now making wrs holsters for fldc with thumbrests. As far as I know, they are the only ones offering them. They aren't on the website yet, you'll have to call.
  17. Bladetech tmms, or els both do pretty the same thing. I HATE the safariland els belts though.
  18. Lead farm is tooth and nail amrory, they are forum sponsors I believe.
  19. Call or email them. Tara clarkson tara@bladetech.com and tom crawford tom@bladetech.com are the ones that I worked with to make it happen.
  20. I run a plus 6 or 7, which ever one that gets me 12 in the tube. No clamp. I don't wanna worry about my poi moving all the time.
  21. I don't know if the 1301 had some sort of break in period or what, but after I shot a little bit and adjusted the stock it was night and day different. Mine kicks like a VersaMax, points like a Benelli now.
  22. I took it completely apart, it was a little dirty(but not excessive). I didn't find any obviously worn or broken parts. Hopefully it was just the dirt. It only does it occassionally when you push the button, it doesn't do it while its shooting(thank god). We shall see.
