  1. I tried them. They aren't very fast. I wasnt impressed.
  2. Open up the load port and throw a tube on. They are pretty set from there. You can add the other stuff as an option later.
  3. Shooting to bolt lock requires nothing, just load like normal and it'll do the hard part for you.
  4. I will check it out at the state match. My new build has a metal grip. I've got a 40 that i shoot uspsa with. That's the one giving me problems. I'm avoiding the urge to put the metal grip on my 40, because i haven't gathered all the parts for my new 9mm build yet.
  5. Does this stiffen the grip any? I seem to be crushing my grip on my pistol on mag changes during a match, because they drop free when I'm just testing them.
  6. Could you do this.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yl63cR9Y_Y0 And this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0WTZ-_v6Mks For a half an hour? If so you will have 400 rounds in an hour. What toolhead is that?
  7. Know anyone that's used one? Its $100, don't wanna throw good money after bad.
  8. Cfe 223. It mainly spills as it indexes into place.
  9. I'm having a lot of powder spillage on my super 1050 in .223. I've got the bearing kit, and delrin detent. Any other ideas?
  10. How long are you tumbling? Are you using tap water? It varies. Pistol seems to come out ok after about 2 hrs. Rifle is the one that seems to be the most trouble. It will look good, then whatever is floating in the water seems to attach itself to the brass and leaves a darker film on it, after the water cools show. You can pick it out of the mixer and it'll wipe off with your hand. Its weird.
  11. Kind of like how invictus came up with the staggered clip designs, then taccom did it, now carbon arms is doing it. Everyone will be using magnets like taccoms new ones next. There's only so many different ways to hold shotgun shells!
  12. I've tried a 9mm full, I've tried a 45 full, and everything from none to a lot. You mean put the one shot one while it's wet? Because it's the drying that seems to turn it colors.
  13. I've tried that. Cold water? Hot water? They start out shiny, and then turn a dark copper.
  14. I've tried many different methods of wet tumbling. Everytime they turn colors. Ive tried more lemishine, less lemishine, more soap less soap. Cant seem to find a good fix. The best i get is no pins at all, even then it still turns darker.
  15. I've got a lancer 15" I'm looking to move. And I've got an ap certificate they arent honoring as well, it's kind of shitty. They need to at least make an announcement or something.
  16. I didn't see you already solved the problem
  17. Take a caliper to your rail. I just had an upper with this problem. The rail was .010 undersized. It needs to measure at least .830, if i remember correctly.
  18. On my 40 i found my mags weren't dropping free during matches and that's what it was, i was squeezing the grip a lot harder than in practice.
  19. It does over a long time. I have to replace my practice shells once a year. It won't hurt to do it in a match though.
  20. I'm not saying press it. I'm saying hold it in, and rack till it's empty. That's the fastest way.
  21. Just hold the shell release button down and rack it empty.
  22. I've got a swaro on my 18" gun. I built a bay gun, and put the xtr ii 1-5 on it. Its a helluva scope at any price, the reticle works great out to 300 yards with my 55grs so far. I haven't got a chance to try it out with my long range loads, but i bet it'll work out just fine.
