Turn your gas down if you have an adjustable gas block. If not try to rotate your gas block just a little to the side, to eliminate the overgassing theory.

I've got that same patriot case and love it, well worth the money.I bring the patriot case to the range and load everything in my stroller. That being said, Cabela's has a 52" 3 gun bag for $90 that looks pretty well made.

I've got the base model one, it feels like a two stage without the second stage. I polished mine just a touch and it pulls at about 1lbs 10oz's. Couldn't be happier with it.

My vote is for the 1301. Benelli light, without the kick. Mines been 100% so far.

Front sight changeout is very simple, just thread the old one out, and pick the right width bracket and screw it on.

The slp is now the backup. Not a dig against the slp, just like the lightness, and not having to clean all the time, without the retina detaching recoil of the Benelli.

Ive had my slp for about a year and a half, shot several thousand rounds, it's been a reliable great shotgun. It has to be cleaned a lot, and it's heavy, those are the only knocks I can say on it.

Sometimes if the springs to long it makes it harder to get that last shell in. Prolly won't know until you try and load it a few times.

I actually like the cheaper hiperfire, I like the extra length of pull, so I can run the lightest springs and not worry about a.d.'s. It feels like a 2 stage trigger without the stiff stage at the end.

Dealer buddy of mine has a 24" sitting on the shelf. He wants 1149, but I'm sure he's a little negotiable.

Yes, they run the bulk box stuff fine. Good luck finding one under a grand, good luck finding a 24 period. I know where there is a nib 24, but he wants more the 1k.

Got my kick off, installed. I haven't shot it yet, but I've heard they take a couple hundred rounds to break in though.

The 1301 beretta with the kick off would be an excellent option.

Unless bd Williamson bought it, I know where there's a 24" one for 1199.

Can you use a regular bladetech style holster with that? Or do you need to use a race holster?

I'd love to see a slp shoot the 980 fps double aa... any semi auto shotgun for that matter. I've only saw one, and it was a cz 712 that was setup with kurt millers magic springs. I'm not being a smart ass, I'd really like to see it and know what mods were done. I love my slp, but the lowest I've been able to get it to run are the 1145 fps AA's.

My vote is for the hiperfire. replacing my jp's with them.
