  1. I run a Deltapoint Pro on my OSP and love it!
  2. I've been loading BlackBullet International 147gr coated lead. It shoots well out of both my 5.25, and 4.5 XDMs. I'm also using Titegroup.
  3. I have a set of the VZ grips on my 327. I like them.
  4. I had the chance to shoot a RMR and DPP side by side at the range locally, and the RMR a rugged little optic. I choose the DPP because the window is a lot bigger and I had an easier time picking up the dot. I don't think you could go wrong with either. The only downside to the DPP is back up sights are very limited to non-existent. However the triangle dot is awesome.
  5. I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. It's been 15 degrees or colder here. But just dry firing the triangle is super easy to pick up. A lot easier than the dot in the venom on my 22/45. I think I'm going to like it a lot.
  6. I'm going to zero it poa/poi at 25 yards and see how that works. It's my first red dot on a pistol. I'm pretty excited about shooting it this year.
  7. I'm running a Deltapoint Pro on mine. I don't think that they make sights that tall. Even if someone did I'm scared I'd break them off.
  8. I picked up my new OSP on Saturday and my DPP came today. If it's not to cold tomorrow I'll get it zeroed. Then I'll just be waiting on my holster for Carry Optics. I wanted to shoot CO but was a little put off by the 10round limit. With the new rule change I figured it try it out.
  9. The 30s are plenty secure in the regular pistol tacos. I have been running around and jumping up and down and I haven't had one even start to come out yet.
  10. I'm running some HSGI pistol mag tacos. I have some of the extended pistol tacos but they have a little too much retention (great if I was going into combat lol),
  11. brisix you'll love that mag release. It's a much shorter reach to drop the mag. And the paddle gives you a lot of real estate to hit when grabbing your mags. It's the second best mod after the Gear Head Works reverse safety lever.
  12. Ten-X I didn't see them either. I know Yeti Wurks has a +3 base plate, and he is working on a +10. He makes some great stuff, from what I have seen. His mag release is a work of art.
  13. It's from Gear Head Works. It is a lot better than the factory piece. http://www.shop.gearheadworks.com/Scorpion-reverse-safety-lever-SCO-revsftyRH.htm;jsessionid=A0C79C3FA86B4A969610672243E1672F.p3plqscsfapp004
  14. I'm loading 27rds into my Scorpion mags. If you haven't upgraded the mag release yet you should. I have the Yetiwurks release and it's night and day compared to the factory piece.
  15. I decided to try revolver this year as well. I got a good deal on a 327 TRR8. I shot my first match last weekend. It was ton of fun. Now I'm looking for a 627pc!
  16. I'm running a DAA Racemaster with my 5.25 9mm. If I'm moving with the pistol I just flip the lock and the gun is going no where. If I'm starting with the pistol I leave it unlocked. If you are just running the one gun in it though I would look at the DAA Racer. It's a cheaper alternative, but still a great holster.
  17. Steathly has a point as well lol. My rifle is a tank lol so the weight wouldn't matter. However if I was building a dedicated gun that didn't have to also pull multiple roles I would go light. For 3gun I'd still go with the T1 it is slimmer and not going to get in your way. I am running a ML3 on my backup gun and would like to switch to a T1 one day.
  18. I agree with popo. For 3gun the weight savings of the T1 is a big benefit. If it was a combat gun I'd go with the m4.
  19. Welcome! You said it is 10 deg outside. Where you from? If its Alaska we shoot all year brother. I found out the hard way lol.
  20. I have a bushnell 1x6.5 I love it. Do I wish I had the 8.5 yeah but just because it is new and I like the latest and greatest.
  21. 9x23Guy I figured you'd like that one. Now I can mess with him on here and at the range!!! Travis
  22. I think the solution is to just have Ken shoot for you. If you can't tell a difference in recoil, then I would go with the full mass for reliability. Then revisit the issue from time to time as you improve. Who knows 6 months from now you might be able to tell a difference in recoil. Travis
  23. If that's what you have. Run it! Save your lunch money, and buy a 18" upper or gun when you can. Honestly once you are used to the bullet drop, you will probably never know the difference 600m and in.
  24. If pat moved south he wouldn't be able to beat anybody. J/K buddy, sorry to hear about the furnace. Hope it all works out for ya.
