  1. I too am runnig seat crimp in one die along with the lock-out die. It works ok with lead if you have consistant bullets and have the die opened/ polished enough to work. I use plated with no problems. That being said all of my friends that ask I tell them with the Inline Fabrication bullet tray it is just as fast. I made a cover out of 2 layers of neoprene gun cleaning mats to quiet down the bullet feeder otherwise it was too loud to run non stop and acttually slower than hand setting bullets. If you do not have the case feeder yet get it first then maybe consider the bullet feeder but lower your expectations over what the case feeder adds to capacity.
  2. Once fired is starting to get really hard to find in stock might try hitting some of the FS sections on the forums.
  3. The Vortex Razor HD is also a scope I would consider too.
  4. I did the ATV mounts on mine but they are expensive at $35 a set.
  5. I like the Blade Tech DOH but it is temting to loosen them up but if it is set right you shouldn't ever have the pistol pop out.
  6. Keeping the system clean is the Key to it. Make sure the slide is coming back far enough every time to pick up a new primer and don't let any debris in the primer slide area. I keep a can of condensed air to clear specs of media or powder.
  7. I found several on Craigslist for me and my freinds and garage sales. I think one of the best is the Jeep stroller it has solid wheels and the front swivels works awesome. Mine I just cut and ziptied the seat into a platform and a friend added expanded metal to his and removed the seat to make it less stroller looking.
  8. So far the surefire has ran fine for me but some friends have started to have problems with theirs. Most stages I have shot I just stick to the 30 rd. Pmags.
  9. I am switching to the prismatic. Who makes the knobs you guys are talking about?
  10. So you can't show me where the research has been done showing this? Also some bullets feature a steel jacket that is over the lead and those have been used as standard target loads in Europe for a long time. As far as being hard so are hard cast lead bullets that have tin in them as well.
  11. I bought some of the Sig bullets when they were on sale for $35 and loaded them they shot great out of a 9mm the only thing that makes it a Sig bullet is the longer straight areas on the sides to give neck tension in the bottle neck cartridge. I have both 9mm 100 and 357 Sig 100gr. and that is the only differece. As for being hard on barrels they are Copper and Tin the same materials used in all other bullets. This is just my opinion but with out hard evidence that they cause barrel excessive wear I am going to keep using them. For what it is worth I had excellent luck with accuracy and reliability out of both types but the 9mm 100gr are sold out only 90's left. Load them off of size not weight so a 100 is more like a 124gr. and as always start low and work up. Ramshot list loads for frangibles and I think a few others do as well.
  12. I forgot to mention that I am using the case feeder and found that when the spring is new 9mm and 223 load much much better than when it is wore out or damaged.
  13. This is what I am hoping to do with mine next seems like the way to go for high volume shooting.
  14. I have started using one of these for 223 and so far it is awesome about 2K done and no complaints.
  15. I too stand the 9mm up to sort them after sorting with the 380 plate in the sifters. It catches the 38SC and any 380 that may still be mixed in.
  16. My favorite all around powder is Ramshot Zip but I do load other powders especially in 45 I like their Competition for that. I also load a little with TrueBlue but it reminded me of PowerPistol a little flashy for indoors but metered excelent being a superfine ball powder.
  17. I load them with the same specs as the large and have to say that they shoot the same from my experiance. I am only using middle of the road target loads however.
  18. Great advice here made my case feeder run way better still not 100% but way better still fine tuning it a bit.
  19. I have been using the Inline Ergo for a little bit now and can say it makes a huge difference along with the die holders, light and ultramount. Dan makes great products.
  20. I can do about 500-700 on my ammo plant depending on the cartridge without being too slow about primer loading.
  21. I too am having the springs get flat spots in them like they get smashed or pinched and can't see where this is happening.
