  1. Actually, I have mentioned to at least one of the LEO'S, just in passing, and again the reply was, we (I) am just doing this for practice, which is quite clear, as they use cover, look from side to side before showing clear and holstering. Like I said, I have no problem with them practicing, but competing in production is just not the place they should be, in my opinion. I on the other hand, am not practicing per se at the match, and I wish to compete with others in my division on equal footing. I was at my 1st IPDA match this weekend and there was an Air Marshall there. He did his usual area check and looked behind when he holstered. He must have trained to practice his presentation because he did it a few times out of habit and one of the ROs told him he could get in a trouble for that since it was ghosting. He also shot within the rules of the game and kicked butt LOL.
  2. Don't mean to necro the thread but how many people have tried those wristbands that are supposed to improve your balance?
  3. I carry my Glock 34 everywhere expect for the last 2 months it has been off getting a RMR sight milled into it. I'm going to start to shooting matches again and going to use my 34 with a different 34 slide for Production and IPDA and the optic sighted slide for Open.
  4. I carry my G34 in a MTAC or Dale Frickle ArchAngel for RMR glock. I carry about 130 to 2, right where my hand lays naturally over my right front pocket. Since I am waiting for my slide to come back from getting milled I'm use a 26. Your right it is a great set up. Can't say enough good things about the pocket glocks.
  5. Is there a picture thread that shows what gear others are using and how they have it set up? I have looked but didn't see one.
  6. Thank you I wasn't sure what to call it besides a gun rug.
  7. Anyone know where you can get some of those square gun rugs like the ones that come with the Uncle Mike's range bag?
  8. Get a good holster and couple of mag pouches. Then get a few more till you have enough for all your magazines. Then get a belt last. You can use the holster and mag holders on your regular gun belt till then.
  9. I use the $20 Dremel engraver and use my initials and 3 digit number... CRN 001 and so on ..... on the side of magazines.
  10. I'd like to add that a small booboo/1st Aid kit might a good idea. Cuts, scrapes, bumps and if you have old wood stage tables, Splinters! can make a fun day not so fun.
  11. I have toyed with the idea of making a cart like they use for SASS but not sure how I want it to look. If I start with 3 gun matches I might do a green zombie bug out cart
  12. I want to start back to shooting IPSC and I want to try out IPDA. I am looking at getting new gear as I have changed guns since I last shot IPSC several years ago. I am asking more than 1 question in this thread because I didn't want to be the new guy who starts 3 or 4 threads asking different thinks. 1) If I use the blade tech or comptac double and single mag pouches are they good for both games? I saw a CR Speed belt that took tec lock attachments so I could possibly move up to a full on IPSC outfit later on with these pouches and just change belts and maybe holsters. 2) Can I shoot a G35 with a 9mm conversion barrel in IPDA ESP and IPSC Limited? I have a G34 that is milled for a RMR and taller sights for my EDC and Self Defense gun. I know I can shoot it in Open/Unlimited but I was wanting to have kinda the same thing without the sight for both IPDA and IPSC. A conversion barrel is cheaper than a slide. What I am thinking of running is Wilderness 5 stitch belt with a Bladetech holster with a double mag pouch for IPDA and add 2 single pouches for IPSC. Any help is appreciated.
  13. Blade Tech has 2 styles could it be they got some mislabeled or in the wrong box somewhere along the way?
