    Trigger Pull

Stony, I have the 13lb in it already. I got it from Ohlasso. Have you tried the light trigger conversion unit from Wolf?
  2. Good idea, if it is accurate that is what really matters!
  3. I think it matters more what you do once you make Master then how you got there.
  4. I suppose that would be a good time for a double charge!
  5. I use the same Bladetech dual pouch for my Beretta and CZ. It works well for both.
  6. I agree, I see people trying to go too fast and they do not seem to improve like those that get their hits and gradually increase speed naturally.
  7. Joe LThose are nice looking guns. I live in Abilene and we do not have any local matches. I may have to go to one of your IDPA matches so I can see them in person! I plan on shooting in Lubbock this Saturaday.
  8. You should start the trend and shoot your carry pistol. I am sure it will catch on very quick once you start winning with it!

    Trigger Pull

I spent several hours polishing the trigger parts on my E2 but the trigger pull is still long and heavy. Anyone have any suggestions that do not involve sending the gun away?

    P226 USPSA

I am a fan of the X-5. I think the extra 1/2 inch sights is a huge plus for the gun. However, they are not cheap and I would have to pay extra to get it to fit into an IDPA box and make weight. I will put it on my wish list for now!

JAFO, I do not have too much faith in Sig's specs. They say my elite carry stainless weighs: Weight w/Mag 39.1 oz It actually weighs just under 41oz w/Mag.

    New CZ owner

It must be nice living in driving distance from CZ Custom!
  13. I have never had a bad experience like you are describing. I would definately say it is an exception to the norm. Although, I have seen people take more brass then their share.
  14. "Stop separating guns by triggers, separate them by size and weight, You'll create a game where actual self defense guns have a competitive division. Full size, compact, subcompact." You may have more people shooting their carry (defensive) gun. You may be on to something.
  15. Either way, Glock, M&P, and XD's all should be in the same category!
  16. The funny thing is he told me it is a new gun. Man it had a HEAVY trigger!

The only reason I asked about the weight is because I have doubts it will be under the 43oz mark for IDPA. I have a Stainless P220 Carry Elite and it weighs just under 41oz. It is 3.9 in as opposed to the 4.4in. It sounds like you caught the Signess.
  18. Is the vertec a single or double stack? I know the egonomics is more in line with a 1911 verses the standard Beretta design.

Thanks for the reply JGus. I like the stainless frames even better than the alloy. Those are really nice guns! I hear the X-Five Allround has some reliability issues. Do you know how much your USPSA 9mm weighs with empty mag? Thanks H

Anyone know if these can still be found?
  22. I ran across one of these yesterday at a local gun shop. Its condition is like new. He was asking $799. I wish it was an 1A instead!

    Beretta elite 2

I wish they would bring back the Steel I. An Elite II with a steel frame may be even be better!
