I do not like the notch on the factory adj. rear sight either. Way too small! The Novak is nice and wide. I ordered the .320 today. Thanks again for your input!

I was doing a little shooting today and my Elite II is now essentially a DA only gun. The hammer falls forward after most shots. Anyone know what may be causing this? Or what to replace? Thanks

Just weighed mine in at 37.6 oz. Mine has the fixed sight and was weighed with empty 19 round mag and plastic grips.

Really? What makes the "T" version lighter? Just the adjustable sight??? I have the T so that's good to know. If it has an LPA sight then the sight is cutinto the slide loosing a good bit of material. This may account for the lighter between the two.

Anyone using the Sig 226 Elite in IDPA? (ESP) It shows weighing a little ove 42 oz. It would be ideal if it were available (SAO) in an all stainless slide/frame. Thanks

I am thinking of getting a 75 shadow for SSP and was wondering if anyone knew the weight w/empty mag. I had an SP01 and had a lot of issues making weight without making alot of less than optimal choices. Thanks

Thanks for the suggestion. I shot about 50 rounds today and made sure my thumb was not on the slide release buttom. The slide lock functioned properly 7 out of 11 times. I'm still thinking the reciol spring may be a little stiff. However, I am not as familiar with Sigs as I am 1911's.

I have a 220 SS elite that engages slide lock on last round about half the time. Gun only has around 300 hounds ran through it, have 4 mags, and have used several brands of ammo. I have ruled out mags and maybe ammo. I recall reading that European ammo is hotter than domestic ammo and am wandering if the gun may be designed as such? Anyway, feel free to offer any suggestions. I have a Sig p220 Elite Carry Stainless and am wanting to use it in IDPA. Does anyone have a suggestion for a holster? Apparently the Carry Elite is a little wider than the P220 Elite. Any suggestions?
