Shoot'Em Up Sniper game
Too_Slow replied to GrumpyOne's topic in Miscellaneous Topics That Do Not Fit in Any Other Forum
CZ the gun you can get at or after level 6 only needs 3 or 4 mags to kill those. Brian -
OK folks so here is the list of our classifiers. CM08-02 Steeler Standards, CM09-11 Razor's Edge, CM99-02 Night Moves, CM06-02 Big Barricade II, CM99-28 Hillbillton Drill, and CM06-05 Fluffy's Rvenge 2. Some of the people at the planning meeting have been around for quite a while but none of them can remember ever shooting CM99-28 before so we decided to go with it. Brian

Try Sizing die in position 1 and Seating die in position 4. With the powder die in position 2 that should do it just fine. Brian

I would suggest having some work done on the 17 before trying to shoot major pf ammo in it (new barrel with a compensator). Brian

It normally happens when the brass sits wet after being fired for some time. It allows the primer to corrode in the pocket. Brian

The shooter can not shoot from the start position it is not inside the FFZ. So if he shot from there it would at the least give him procedurals. Brian

Well so far it looks like they are only talking about doing it on the HD and the HD+ but not the NST or the other older tablets. Brian

As I recall the problem was that one lot was slower than normal. There is no problem with the other lots. Brian

Redding pro series sizing dies and glocked brass?
Too_Slow replied to JC49ae's topic in General Reloading
It sounds more like the bullets at that length are engaging the rifling in the barrel of that gun before the rounds are fully seated in the chamber. Brian -
Hi all, we now have a classifier picked out CM 99-13 Quicky II, and a round count for this weekends match. It will be 161 rounds. The reason for the lower round count than normal for one of our matches is because most of the stages are from European IPSC matches that Roy dug up. Most of them are medium length stages with 20 - 24 rounds so while the round count is lower the difficulty level per stage is up. Hope to see you at the match. As we did last year we are using the two bays on the end to make one bigger stretched out stage to challenge you more. Brian

The easiest thing is to just point them at the lawn and say "There you go". Brian

Shooting requirements before shooting a match?
Too_Slow replied to lugnut's topic in USPSA/IPSC Shooting
I don't know where Roy got all that he said, I am the guy that does sign up for the matches and I don't turn anyone away unless they are too late and the match has already started. That said we do request that absolutely new shooters come out to a couple of our practice nights to get some training on commands, safety and the way things are run. The only times we have had any trouble is when we have had two or three new shooters end up on the same squad and really slow them down. Brian -
Does the USPSA website update at a certain time?
Too_Slow replied to Therealkoop's topic in USPSA/IPSC Shooting
The classifier will not be up until about 5-15-13 because they missed this months stats run. Brian -
N320 is waaaaay too fast of a powder to even try to make major with in 38 Super. You need a much slower powder for maqjor. Brian

Hi Kenn, there is also a match on Sunday the 28th down in Romulus at the Wayne County Raccoon Hunters Club. The website is http://www.ipsc66.org . It is a very good match and loads of fun as well. Brian (from Westland)

Is there a way of combining two targets into one new target? I need to take one of the regular targets and put a No-Shhot over the lower part of it but I can't figure out how to do it. Brian

Yeah I know how you feel. It seems that I now have a mama raccoon in my attic and have to get rid of her and the little ones. Add in that I have been unemployed for some time and have no income and it gets worse. Brian

I don't have a rule to quote just that is what our instructor (Art Brown) told the entire class. Brian
