  1. I'll reply to my own thread. The "ringing" is stil there, and always will be, what we figure. Sierra, to tell if it is you or your house. Go back to the ENT, and sit in his sound booth or patient room with all the doors closed. IF you still hear the HUM it is you, and simply keep the fan on in the room for some "White noise" to help sleep. I have had small bouts with Sinus clogging more often than ever before the "Sinus infection" that caused the ring. they usually aggrivate me for about a week or more. until I go get a roseffrin and Decadron shot in the butt. That usually gets the job done. Good luck with your "trouble" Keep us informed please. HOP
  2. Thanks Sue and Steve. Everyone else. Match booklets will be a pdf file on these forums(coming soon). IF you want a match booklet print it off and bring it with you. Otherwise walk throughs will be on the stages. Practice up on your 50 yd shooting, and it wouldn't hurt to practice up on your weak hand over the shoulder, nothing but net shot too. See ya'll there, we're setting up stages this weekend so I can have a whole week to practice the stages by myself !!!! Hop
  3. So Scooter, you gonna be skipping the Memphis Charity Challenge match again this year ? Hop
  4. Rich, I hate you're gonna miss it. Every one else.................good news !!!! Bring some extra $$$$ We're gonna have a few things to auction off again. ALSO we're gonna raffle off a Springfield 45 loaded. We're gonna sell 200 tickets only for it and start selling the tickets at the match. IF they all sell there, we'll then draw for it then. Also, MGM targets have donated 2 US poppers for auction like last year. Please contact your loal club to see if they want in on it. (Thanks Mike and Travis) $5 each, or 5 for $20 until gone. Also again, Sue says shirts will be $40 bucks each. As ya'll can tell, numbers are a little down this year. Dontaions are WAY down as of now but I'm hoping to get some responses back before the match. HOP
  5. Richard, You, Bucket, Todd Crow,or Sargenv not coming to the party ? Hop
  6. NO need for an 8 shot IF you don't miss. see these results. http://icore.org/archive/2010/SouthernRegionalResults2010.html (6th overall) I was using a 25-2 shooting my normal USPSA major loads as I didn't have time to make some whimpy loads. And: http://icore.org/archive/2010/CentralRegionalResults2010.html (1st Overall)(still using "major" ammo here too) ( I was using a different 25-2 ) gotta swap up so they don't get lonely Hop
  7. If anybody is coming that hasn't sent in their entry. Please contact Brad with your pertnant info, and just pay when you get there. Registration, and shooter pack pick up will be Friday until 17:00 at the range. and then Saturday 07:00 until shooters meeting. NO registration at the match hotel. We still can use about 17 more shooters to break last years record. You guys(and gals) are not holding up to the challenge for this year (bring one more). Hop

  10. Sue says match shirts will be $40.00 order them when we get together in Memphis. See ya'll then. Hop
  11. I use a 625 or some varient in all types of matches I shoot. USPSA 625/25 and sometimes 646. IDPA 625. ICORE 625. STEEL 625/25/646 HOP
  12. A few people have questioned why the squadding change from 10 to 8 ? I told Brad to drop the number to 8 so we can have more squads, get the match shot faster, and not have range officers sitting and waiting for squads to show up to shoot. I heard about a few small inconsitancies last year, so this year each stage will have it's own RO crew to make sure they are all run the same for everyone. If you missed squadding with "the same ole guys" take advantage of getting to shoot with a new bunch of people. You never know, you might even like shooting with them too. Hop
  13. Yes, Mike I picked one of those 03 classifiers to help you and JOSH out on the quest for GM. BUT, Josh has deffered his attendance until Mommy let's him come and play again. I want to congratulate everyone who attended the USPSA Nationals and Jerry for regaining his title. (Hard fought). See some of you in 2 weeks at Memphis. HOP
  14. Now that the USPSA Nationals in Vegas are done and in the books, you've got a little over 2 weeks to get your entries in for the Memphis Charity Challenge 2010 edition. Hop
  15. Sounds interesting, but depends on where...................... HOP
  16. sights lift off the target on the last shot, then I'm looking where I'm going while unloading and grabbing a new moonclip (I too use a North Mountian, and hardly ever look for a loaded clip) somewhere in that I'm looking down at the center pin of the cylinder. When my free hand(holding the clip) is about 4 to 6 inches above the cylinder I just drop the moonclip on the cylinder. when I see the moonclip starting to go into the cylinder I'm now starting to look for the next target, position or whats next. Hop
  17. While you guys are all bunched up, remind each other about the Memphis Charity challenge in 3 weeks. Hop
  18. Uhmmm, Linda has been a little busy doing Stats at the AWESOME Mississippi 3-gun Challenge. Jack, on the other hand. He's likely been watching college football.(pulling for Clemson I'm sure) HOP
  19. And be a good practice/tune-up for the Memphis Charity Challenge. http://www.memphis-ssa.com/mcc/mcc.htm Hopalong (Couldn't help it John)
  20. I'm not MD or RM, but as a range officer, AND MD for the MS 3-gun challenge using Ft. Benning rules I'll answer your question Big Lucky. 9MM is good to go for pistol............NO minor/Major in Ft. Benning 3-gun. Hopalong But, you may want to read the rules yourself.(once they get posted)
  21. Might not have gotten you at TN, but who won thier division ? (with one days practice on a new gun) You'd better be polished up pretty slick........slick Hop (and the fun begins)
  22. Just got a note from John Scouten. He will have a film crew at this years Memphis Chairty Challenge. Hop
  23. Late fee is only $15.00 just enough to make someone wonder "Why didn't I send it in sooner?". Late fees are designed to get entries in earlier so we can get a good idea of how many folks are coming for the food, water, bathrooms ect. So put yourself in the MDs shoes when sending in entries from now on. So to answer the question. NO, late fees not waived this year. Hop
