  1. just saw this video on youtube looks smart for a LNL AP
  2. i did 8 , 9 and 10 no particular difference
  3. this is the standard gun in action at the EHC 2016 team standard tanfoglio
  4. really beautiful guns , i handled them both at the EHC , and no word to say apart from amazing ,guns were tight, and heavy duty built to stand the power of both cailbres. Team Tanfoglio where using the guns both in standard and open division.
  5. I only shoot 145 gr 9mm cast bullet in both S2 and S3, never head any problems
  6. does it have a longer barrel , frame than the normal one ?
  7. could you post some pic of the AUS stock 2 please
  8. my setup is purely stock no extreme parts ,hennings etc,
  9. fiocchi , ginex, murom , magtech never a problem
  10. my friend loads on a dillon 550 and i on a lnl ap , just seat the primer to the max ,
  11. If you are shooting reloaded ammo , the first thing you need to do for every tanfoglio is to seat the primer well . I Have the stock 2 and a friend of mine has the Extreme version ,and limited cusomt xtreme , he had the same issue with primers not igniting but after seating the primer well they all went off with 13lb spring both guns.
  12. There is a new line of tanfoglio parts called unica line i saw at the EHC in eger
  13. Ghost Hybrid is what i use , and i find it very good, other brands like DAA PDR PRO , Bladetech, and GUGA RIbas should do good as well
  14. 40 sw , has more wear on the gun , whatever brand it is . keep the gun cleaned and oiled , as for parts i keep a compartment box with pins, springs and fiber optics, so when something happens on the range i have them handy but extra sear , firing pin and extractor won't hurt and they are not so expensive andre
  15. you can email tanfogio factory , they have a new line called UNICA line , which comprises of new treatment that makes the parts more durable to use and the firing pin is a little bit longer for the production guns for who wants to use light springs. The parts are a hammer, sear and the firing pin hope i ve helped andre
  16. hi i have a tanfoglio limited custom older version with side dovetail front sight, i would like to change to a 1mm fibreoptic one, does anyone know the size of the dovetail or if it can be fitted with a one from a 1911 thanks andre
  17. 3mm x 5.50 mm for the stock one , but i would get the 2.5 x5.50 mm , you see the fiber optic more clearly
  18. I didn't tell you about he extreme , i just asked what is the price of the s3 special . I f a S3 is 50 $ cheaper than an S2 probably i would go for S2 .
  19. what is the asking price for the s3 special ? The normal S3 is a very nice ,with polishing all the parts and with the upgrade of the extreme parts ,like firing pin , and titan hammer it will be top notch for production division , the only drawback is the finish which is one of the worst i ever handled
  20. here in europe i dont know about large frame , they are all small frame the stock 2, stock 3, limited pro. Tanfoglio grip feel more natural for me and as i told there are different grip panel that sure make the gun to your liking, like extreme grips, the original factory aluminum and hennings .There was a thread here that measure the width of the gun with the mentioned grips the shadow 2 have very slim grip, right now they are not making any wide one's but sure in near future, i have both stock 2 & 3 in wooden grips and for me tanfoglio have the best grip ergonomic on earth
  21. Its shorter, I use the tanfoglio with the wooden grips,it more beefy and they are really comfortable for me , you dont feel the checkering under the trigger guard cutting through your hands ( when using extreme or aluminium grips its the same as the shadow ). Also if you prefer the DA reach of the CZ on a Tanfoglio you can go to the extreme DA trigger and still it is shorter to reach than a shadow 2 . Shadow 2 is a very nice gun with high quality finish, and superb mag release and the same size as the stock 3 . The trigger and grip on both shadow s is what i dont like , The shadow 2 has a very slim grip panel , you can feel the checkering marking the fingers when having a tight grip and with the shape of trigger sort of elevated i dont find it comfortable when pulling DA contrary to the Stock 2 otherwise on single action they are just the same ( my opinion )
  22. i prefer tanfoglio DA over CZ shadow 2 DA reach , i have big hands tough
