  2. Does anybody know who to get to do a trigger job on an LDA, possably sorten the reset?
  3. Hi Malfunction, check out the Richmond Hotshots in Richmond, www.richmondhotshots.com they have IDPA and IPSC matches every month. Great bunch of people!
  4. I happen to be very proud of the way my son turned out, he isn't your classic church going kid, but you would be hard pressed to find an adult or kid his age that dosn't like him. He respects elders that diserve it, and not ones that don't, he is totally trustworthy and honest, thats more then I can say about a lot of adults I have run into. He's not perfect but...who is, don't blame society or the schools, its ALL on the parants. And I take full responsibility for any and all of his shortcomings. Jesse (my son) said to me once "I need a license to drive a car, but any a$$hole can have a kid".
  5. Just got back from seeing it, all I can say is....ALPHA ALPHA ALPHA!!! some of the people in this movie would give our IPSC GM's a run for the money. A million shots and not a "MIKE" in the bunch!
  6. They still haven't figured out about my NSR 250! Two strokes on the streets, YEE HAW!!
  7. littering and...littering and... Great flick...you will be VERY dissapointed with club dread though Evil shinanagins
  8. My son and I have been shooting ISPC, and IDPA for the best part of three months now. The first time we shot matches it was ugly, ie. shoot to slide lock reload and not drop the slide, missing targets, shoot two mags. at one steel just to knock it down and every other possable mess up! IDPA is still a problem, reloads with retention, Tach reloads, and the like (can't help but drop that mag. on the dirt), but each and every time we shoot the people we shoot with are KOOL so it's know big deal. The first few times we shot if we made a mistake (not safety related), the other shooters would tell us are mistakes, and show us the correct way to do things. No big penaltys, or percedurals and things like that, they knew we didn't have a chance...so what if they gave us a point or two they made us feel at home. Now we know better we get zapped if we screw up, as it should be. All you have to do is explain mistakes and procedure when the pressure hits them (us), and keep the range Nazis away from then when they start. I have been a newbie at a lot of sports, (racing karts and street bikes) and had to learn them all, If the people around you are about havin fun it will be fine, If you have some old fart givin people crap then keep them away untill the newbies learn, then they'll be able to hold there own. Don't hold their hands just make them welcome, they WILL come back...we did!! And on that note this would be a good time to say "THANKS" To all the people at the Richmond Hotshots...you know who you are. "THANKS"
  9. Spook, can't wait to see it!!! It was one of my all time greats in high school!
  10. Don't you mean "George A Romero"... Spook
  11. I bought some cheap!!! ProMags, perfect for dry fire, with dummy rounds. Heck you could load them with live ammo and still use them for dry fire, they are so bad that they will never chamber a round!
  12. I started one of those stock 10rnd. Para mag. threads from reading other negitive threads. I have been shooting these mags for 2 or 3 months, once or twice a week at the local IPSC club and have droped, stepped on(and I am not a lite guy), kicked and any other thing you can do to a mag. during a match...no problems with them yet...although I can see there week points. also, Detlef I have looked on DP for the stronger base pads and can't find them, can U hold my hand and show me where to find them thanks.
  13. Well I am totally amazed and in awe of the people on this forum, to date I have shown this to about 300 people (approx. 2 months) and have had not one person find any more then 3. I don't pretend to be a smart man, but some of the people I have asked have been quite bright, I guess that myself and all my friends are far dumber then I ever imagined.
  14. That's f%*%g funny!!!!!
  15. Don't cheat Count the "F's" in the following text: FINISHED FILES ARE THE RE- SULT OF YEARS OF SCIENTIF- IC STUDY COMBINED WITH THE EXPERIENCE OF YEARS...(see below) Managed it ? Scroll down only after you have counted them, okay? Do you think there are three? How many ? 3? Wrong, there are 6 !! -- no joke. Read it again. The reasoning behind is further down. The brain cannot process "OF". Incredible or what ? Go back and look again!! Anyone who counts all 6 "F's" on the first go is a genius. Three is normal, four is quite rare. Send this to your friends -- it drives them crazy.
  16. AH...Kevin let's just keep my comment between us, no need to bother Jesse with it. I talk a big game, but when It comes right down to it....
  17. I would just take my son's identical SV and use it...he's young and will have plenty of time to have fun, some other day!! After all, I paid for it!
  18. It was a great day and match! The folks I shot with where great people.
  19. Foster from "Super Troopers" Eric from "Speedway Junky" Anybody on a Ducati
  20. What I am wondering is, if there is a max. length for the limited and limited 10 class? Can you use an STI with a 6in.barrel or does it have to be a 5in., I don't see any 6in. barrels out at the range? For example, if they made a 6in. barreled EDGE would it be legal or not? Wouldn't a 6in. barrel be an advatage? Sorry if this is a stupid question...it wouldn't be my first!
  21. I tried to search for this answer, could not find it. What is the max barrel length for limited and limited 10? Thanks, Adam
