  1. I just got a gen 4 19, I shoot a gen 3 34 in production for the most part. I have only shot the 19 once but was surprised how accurate it was at 25 yrds, I plan on shooting this bad boy in a few local matches now for sure. For most of us its all about having fun
  2. see above. You will like to shoot it more and be better with it
  3. +1 for kkm's drop in. Functions great and is more accurate than I
  4. Im cutting my 6in slide thats on my 20 next weekend.
  5. if there is a list of must read posts this needs to be added to it
  6. well I won't be going into full production any time soon. But I'm going to keep a look out for some used basic equipment so I can give it a try some day
  7. Do they have this every year? I would love to be a lifetime member but don't have the funds right now.
  8. I would like to get into reloading on the cheap, mainly to have the ability to do it. But also to load for 3 gun and a little skeet 12 ha. I am thinking a mec Jr or a lee press is the way to go. It would be a bonus if I could load 410 for my judge. I know nothing about reloading except that you pull a handle and the shell pops out, so any advice is appreciated.
  9. I used a 5/16 lag bolt on a botched install and it worked great. Now installing a new one... That's another story, buy the tool or you will get good at taking them out
  10. can I get 21 in a 10mm mag too? 22? What base pad?
  11. I lifted my truck for $5000 the same month I bought it new, the factory had one already lifted for $18000 more. Same thing I guess.
  12. don't know how to make it play in browser like above
  13. will a gen 3 slide fit a gen 4 frame?
  14. I'm building a g20 for limited too, already did some trigger work, springs, connector and polish + titanium striker and plunger. I don't think the rocket I have on there is as crisp as the zev on my G34 but the reset seems better and its light, could also be slight trigger bar differences. Damn glock triggers seem like you just have to play with them until its how you like it then don't change anything.... Or spend the $ on a good drop in.
  15. I was ROing a guy who got bit shooting weak hand (gripping with both hands), he was shooting his 1911 and his grip was way off, I could see it coming but I didn't want to stop him on the last 3 shots of the stage, he seemed to be in the zone and an experienced shooter. Nonetheless I cringed when he fired those shots, and sure enough as he cleared the gun I could see blood on the handle. I'm going to practice my lefty grip and transition now...
  16. you were right, he emails are almost as fast as his trigger finger. I'll post pics in a couple weeks
  17. any chance of getting Matt from ccgunworks on the phone? I would like him to slice and dice my new slide but didn't see a number on the site. I'm sure he is a busy guy since he is doing everyone on this forums gun... I guess I could have emailed in the time it took to type this. Its kinda like talking to the Dr before you go into surgery, it isn't going to change much but it makes you feel better. (first gun I'm having slide cut btw)
