Looks for Match

Looks for Match (2/11)

  1. I just bought a MTAC from Midway for $369 shipped. $30 off $300 coupon code: 30101212, free shipping. Hopefully the code still works.
  2. I run the .150" notch rear, with .115" wide fronts on all my Glocks (front sight height varies from gun to gun. For this specific gun, I started with the Sevigny Competition Sight Set from CPWSA. My POI wasn't here it should be with the standard .215" tall front though. I used the DP calculation, and figured out I needed a .255" tall front for my gun, so I bought a DP .115 x .255 front. You can buy Sevigny rear sights at either website in the links below. http://www.dawsonprecision.com/ProductDetail.jsp?LISTID=800008E9-1212765497 http://www.cpwsa.com/warren_sevigny_sights.htm .
  3. Check this one out too: http://www.10mm-firearms.com/ .
  4. This is what I see when I'm shooting my G20SF Limited Gun. I run Sevigny's w/.115" wide fronts on all my Glocks.
  5. Like Doug said, WSF might be another one for you to consider. It's my favorite powder for 9/40/45. I shoot 124 JHP's in 9mm, but a very wise man once told me that 115gr + 5.3gr WSF = Dead Nuts Accurate. .
  6. Is that a 100% complete custom Carver trigger? The trigger pad looks like a fulcrum, and I didn't know if he used all his own parts or not. Nice Blaster! I'm definitely interested in your results with that trigger.
  7. Your sight picture should look like this: Shoot with your point of aim where you want the bullet to impact. Record the distance your point of impact is off from your point of aim. Use this calculation to determine the change in front sight height: Sight Radius x Impact Difference = Sight Height Change .............Target Distance (all measurements are in inches) http://www.dawsonprecision.com/CategoryProductList.jsp?cat=SIGHTS+FRONT .
  8. I've had similar results with the PD 124gr JHP w/4.7gr WSF @ 1.10" OAL. I haven't had a chance to chrono them yet, so I'm curious what kind of velocity/PF you're getting with that load? .
  9. You still shooting that G24 in Limited?
  10. Glockworx did the grip work. There was a 2 week turnaround, and that was only due to them moving to a new shop. Their turnaround is usually about a week. How reliable are the mags. I am thinking of getting some mag extensions for my Glock 20. Also curious as to why you went with the 10mm. Do youahve big hands? The mags have been 100% reliable so far, but I'll probably do some beveling on the inside/bottom edge of the mag tubes anyway. I went with the G20SF for a few reasons: 1. My hands aren't huge, but I still prefer the feel/handling of the Large Frame grip. 2. The wider grip helps distribute recoil even better than the G35 frame 3. The extra slide mass also makes it a soft shooter, but I'll probably end up having a few oz. trimmed off 4. I can run long loaded 40 (1.20") with powders like WST 5. It seems to be much easier to get reliable 20rd mags 6. With Sevigny's, the sight radius is almost identical to a 5" 2011
  11. Here's my G20SF USPSA Limited build. KKM 10mm-40 Barrel (Reamed to feed @ 1.20" OAL) Stainless Guide Rod w/13# ISMI Spring Sevigny Competition Rear Sight Dawson Precision Black .115" x .255" Front Sight Zev Tech Speed Feed Magwell Zev Tech Extended Mag Release Glockworx Standard Stippling Finger Groove Removal Double Undercut Trigger Guard Arredondo +5 Extensions (20rds Reloadable) I'll eventually throw in a Zev Fulcrum Trigger (Duty/Tactical), and have Glockworx do some slide cuts.
  12. I know it's not the same, but I can get 20 reloadable in my G20 mags with Arredondo's, and I didn't have to modify anything. The last round really isn't all that hard to load. I bet I could get a functioning 21rd mag if I trimmed the follower & beveled the bottom inside edges of my mags.
  13. Glockworx Stippling, Finger Groove removal, Double Undercut Trigger Guard. G20SF.
  14. I'll be doing my own chrono testing soon, but I was hoping that someone had done this before & could provide some data. I was just wondering how much velocity is lost using a 5gr heavier bullet with the same powder/charge, but I guess I'll find out soon enough.
  15. What was your PF with 4.3gr TG using 180gr bullets?
