So, if the hammer is dropped and the gun goes 'bang' the RO takes the DQ instead of the shooter? After all, its his responsibility. that is lame...of course not. when you've done it this long, you make sure, period. i venture to guess your entire squad feels comfortable with you walking around after a stage because the RO was sure yer gun was clear, not cause you said it was.

A long time ago, a guy named Dave Stanford told me as an RO, you are responsible for ensuring that gun is clear. I do that every time I run a shooter and always will. Flip to yer hearts content, but I will always make sure the gun is clear, my way. And that means I have to see an empty chamber. Pretty simple, eh?

i know a certain CRO who when encountering this phenomena, always makes the shooter go through the ULASC a second time, in slo-mo, just to piss them off. friggin' hilarious.

Speaking to an officer this last weekend, to quote him, "The burden of proof to prove you did not have them before 2000 is on them, and next to impossible to determine" and unless your a thug, most officers will be inclined to look the other way. They just don't have the time or resources to go after this..... i would agree-just look at post-2000 mags. when i lived there, there were countless folks who had hi-cap mags that weren't even old enough to drive when the ban passed, yet they had plenty. i was always amazed at the number of new shooters who somehow got into the sport in the post-ban era in that state.

do all my own triggers, fit small parts, etc. but the smith gets it for barrels, comps, etc,.

shooting buddy of mine used to chew and spit in a soda cup. later the next day he's driving and his 5 yr old son chums everywhere...yep, took a swig. glad i gave it up, more than 2 yrs ago. nasty habit.

ok, i'm old. time to retire the old safariland hi cap mag pouches i bought when chip mccormick frames hit the market back in the early 90's. so, what are the hot setups? looking at DAA racer pouches.

Not to mention all the overweight slackers using those motorized chairs.

it is not designed to work that way. there are ways around it, lot's of tinkering and i got mine to work.

you also need to ensure you are using the correct tec tubes. benny built mine using ralph's benelli assist, so i use the benelli tubes with the shorter tongue. if yer using ralph's 930 assist, i don't know which tec tubes you need. give ralph a call.
