Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Got pix of the Phoenix Trinity? They told me they would have pictures up sometime last December, but they never updated the site...
  2. I'm trying 1.18 now with my blank loads, it looks to be feeding a little more reliably but you can kind of replicate it if you let your slide forward slowly. I know the slide doesn't act like that in actual action, but its the easiest way to replicate the behavior. I don't think its the extractor as the bullet isn't even that far up yet.
  3. I mentioned OAL in the first post, 1.200. I've noticed this occurs more often on the 2nd to last bullet.
  4. I think i get what you mean with the extractor. Crimp would affect the way it bullet runs up the ramp? I use a Dillon 650 btw. Also I have polished the ramp before without much difference.
  5. So would i just remove the extractor and start bending it out little by little?
  6. Thanks for all the replies. Sharing is caring . I never thought about sharing pistols during the make ready like that in a match, normally we'd go to a safe area/berm to trade guns if someone wanted to try one of ours out.
  7. My brother and I have been shooting pistol matches for a while now, and were thinking of going into 3gun as well. We were planning on shooting the same division with pretty much the same gun -pistol. Is it okay/common to just share/use eachother's guns? For pistol matches, we normally always have our pistols strapped to us, so sharing isn't really doable or advised.
  8. Howdy, I'm having an occasional FTF issue where the round will get stuck going up the feed ramp, locking the slide back (slide stop isn't activating). I'm not nose diving, the round just gets caught on the ramp. I'm using tuned Brazo mags with grams guts and DP +1 SNL. Ammo is loaded to 1.200 OAL MG FMJ. The gun is a Brazo HPE with a FLGR & 12.5 ISMI spring. It happened only once or twice earlier, but more recently I've been getting 2-4 a match. Is it an extractor issue?
  9. I've run a CR Speed for the past year and thinks fine. It doesn't feel like a brick like the AA does though. I use a GP100 and didn't know what insert to get for it, so the adjustability of the CR Speed was what lead me that route. I've also used it several times for 2011's and I feel it holds the GP better than the 2011 as the trigger guard is bigger on the GP. Another guy shoots a GP100 at our local USPSA matches with a safariland 002 holster which I believe can double for IDPA (IDK IDPA holster rules so don't quote me on that). I used a crummy fobus for a two matches until my blue started wearing which sparked the swap. You could always shoot the 627, just count to 6 and reload or get bumped to open hah.
