USPSA multigun rule 3.2 mandates "identification of specific targets to be shot with specific firearms. can i interpret this to mean it's ok to have a stage where specific targets can be engaged with either weapon, assuming the target is identified and is one that can be shot with either weapon?

for a bit more money, the hornady 53 HP's are a better bullet. beyond 150, those suckers group 1/2 of the size the 55's do. they are flat base and rock.

+1. fews years ago hunting dove, warden shows up in a field. one of my buddies is a bit of a hothead, and gives the warden a bad time. warden asks for his license...u guessed it, it was at home. so now he's trying to talk his way out of a $50 fine, and the warden decides to check his 870. yep, buddie left his plug on his bench as well. so a few weeks after he's in to see a judge and forks over about $225 in fines.

local bass pro shops had lots of .223 bullets. scored 250/box of Nosler BT's for $34 and change each. not bad at all.

+1 on splits not mattering-they sure sound good when someone is really behind the gun. i could never get under .16 consistently. but, what's really strange is i tried it with hoser rifle stuff and my splits on my AR are faster...maybe i'm weird.

rancho seco? nope-we have 5 lakes in our gated community-3 full of bass. moved here 16 yrs ago to fish-i don't play golf. and i'm 10 mins from the range. but during spawn, i'm glued to these lakes. might not make it to golden bullet as a result.

for a small price, they will ship you a matching bolt with the barrel. think it was like $40 last time i bought a barrel from john. great idea, and easy to build.
