I might add they did go down with 55's- I loaded the wrong ammo on the reshoot-found my 69's still in the ammo box. Larues are cool. Even with a 4x scope, you can easily see them fall. On Friday, they weren't. What Daniel horner did to that stage was abusive!

We reshot stage 1 this morning... 15 mph wind, but those same larues went down with ease.

The first 2 squads are being given the choice to reshoot stage 1. That is righteous.

That was bull. We were the 1st squad to shoot that stage. I was shooting 69's and still had multiple hits to knock them down. Same larues on stage 2, almost the same distance, and they went flying down with just one hit. So squads 1 & 2 got screwed. They adjusted them for 40 mins and the rest of the squads get a break. No way will they toss it- that stage IS the match.

Nasty long range stages! Offhand flashers at about 130 yds; larues r out beyond 350. The other 10 stages r hosers.

lasik coupons is right. i would think no more 6" plates at 360 yds might get more people to shoot irons (remember albany, or?).

big 3 gun matches are like marathons-best to just hydrate yourself, starve yourself and then pig out at one of the many steakhouses in vegas.

i remember RO'ing a revolver shooter at a steel challenge match years ago. i could see almost every round he shot on outer limits. course his stuff was going about 800 fps. if the sun's just right...

so after a club match, getting ready for the MG nats, i proceed to re-zero my slugs since changing a battery in the doctor. that's another rant in and of itself. anyway, grab a shot-up target, put a black cross on it and start at 25 yds. i fire 3 rounds and i'm not on the paper. go back and look thru the scope, looks about right, but decide to raise the dot a bit. fire 2 more and again, no slug hole. wtf? i look a little closer at the target and see it has alot more holes than when i stapled it up. wtf? i go back and look at the empty box of remington slugs, then look down at the hulls that say "00 buck"!
