  1. This newest version has been drop dead reliable and as you can see from the video......stupid light recoil and pretty much zero muzzle flip. I'll get back to you on the current offerings for AK triggers as a factory AK trigger absolutely sucks huge balls!!
  2. Yes, I made it into a legal rifle.......I understand that they are coming out with that same set up as a rifle soon, but I am sure it will have something other than the Luth-AR stock on it. I never did weigh it, it is not too bad, very light in the front end of course due to the TACCOM extension I put on it. As for making aftermarket parts.......yeah, why do you think it's not moving under fire? It's got a super secret squirrel recoil system in it.
  3. They've been putting them up on their website weekly and they sell out within hours. So far, I've got over 1000 rounds thru it since I've installed the buffer system and it has yet to fail.....today i will be cleaning it, too make it ready for this next weekends match.
  4. If you are on FB......check this video out......pretty dang flat and as soft as a 22....serious. The trigger on these thing is worse than terrible, but that is being swapped out next week.
  5. I'll shooting it next weekend at the Hornady Zombie match
  6. Probably not an AKV.....probably the other variant (which is trash). I am impressed with how reliable this is and how soft it shoots. It really needs a trigger though, which is coming.
  7. SO I've been playing with this.......it is not stock anymore, uses the scorpion magazines. Been drop dead reliable.
  8. This is what they had put out 6 months ago?? It may have changed.....if so....cool!!! We've had zero issues running their triggers with our bolts.
  9. We've used G10 only because it is something that looks different than the normal run of the mill Carbon fiber. The sad news is that G10 is now at about the same price per foot of carbon fiber which is why we've had it listed as out of stock for a while now. I do really like the look of the G10 and from a hand guard stand point......zero difference in strength and durability.
  10. The TACCOM bolt works with the Geissele with no issues, that being said, we do not recommend the Geissele only from the stand point that we honor their statement of not using their triggers with blow back actions.
  11. I would say....that your results have pretty much been what I have found......it is subjective and there is very little difference between the two systems. Basically splitting hairs and at a match, you would see zero difference in stage times, and hit factor.
  12. in the senario you are talking about......you could turn off the circle. On the other hand, I've had zero issues with what you are trying to say. and on steel.....I use the circle to anticipate the shot as I sweep across.
  13. I can see us doing that service in the future.....not right now, we are still cutting our teeth on this new mill.....and it may even get better as I am getting a rotary/index table. AND THEN....we will be able to do some exotic stuff if we choose to.
  14. Here is something I found out totally by mistake and never thought it would have mattered on a 16" barrel.......I was shooting my 45ACP PCC with the new recoil system and the gun was shooting stupid flat, only I noticed that at 30yds, the ULW barrel was clocking about 6" to the right.....nothing bad, just a nuisance. Sooooooo, I come back to the shop and well,, nothing to loose; I drill a few 3/8" holes in the right side of the shroud. Went back to the range later, shot again......and what was clocking about 6" was now clocking about 2". I was like, no way.....there is like no pressure in that 1" tube how is that possible!! Being the tinkerer I am, I figured what the hell, lets see what happens if I port a 9mm ULW barrel out on the end.......sure enough, the rise was less. made a command decision and am now offering a silver ULW with the porting.......I was just amazed!! The only thing I can think is that with the barrel being as light as it is, the porting becomes an effective muzzle brake. weird eh?
  15. It can be normal stroke or short stroked......both stops will be included. But the main thing is that it is a delayed blowback system.....keeps the bolt closed for just a little longer, allowing for a lighter recoil system, flat wire carbine spring. The bolt comes back at the same speed once it gets going.......but due to less mass, you will have less felt recoil and less dot bounce. Basically it's a lot smoother feeling too. We also have a stop for the new super short stroke bolt that we will be coming out with in the near future as well.
  16. Nick is right.......we are working on a new delayed blow back system for the 9mm AR platform that will work with any bolt that has a .625" hole in the back. We've been testing it for a few weeks here. Ran the slide by magnets in a 10,000 cycle test with 100% success. We've got prototypes out for testing and things are going well......we hope to have this out within a month or so. There is absolutely nothing on the market for the blow back platform that will be as soft as this.
  17. I am 100% positive you will know
  18. $400?.........we sell a complete ULW upper for about $70 more. WOW! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  19. Ahhhhhh.......behold......the 507c Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. I use the circle/dot.......it will bracket the target at out to 25yds ish........more important, the circle makes you see that dot!,, Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. The large circle acts as a bracket.......you’ll get use to it fast! And on plate racks I use it as a lead in......you’ll love it Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. I switched everything over last year from cmore to holosun 510c with a red reticle......no more burnt out batteries and much faster with the circle dot. Very bright.....I use manual mode. I did just buy a green reticle and I am liking that as well Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  23. The shockwave.....IHMO with the controls is great with the birdshead grip, and again....IMHO, meant to be shot from the hip. The TAC-14 controls (870) actually sucks balls with a birdshead grip......BUT....put a pistol brace on and the controls work much better.
  24. I went with the short brake......drilled a few 3/8" holes in the top and milled one of those angled side ports out to be more straight. Yeah, the porting in the barrel works too. It shoots stupid flat.
