  1. I know this is an older post now but have some useful information to add. There isn't a whole lot of information or reviews about iDryFire on the internet, this was one of only two different forum posts I could find about it. Spent over two hours trying to set this up, one issue after another. The software and driver files that came with the camera were corrupt. I had to request that another set be sent to me. After I obtained a new set of software (which had to be verified and took about 20 hours of waiting), the camera was then not detected by my computer. I received an error about the device itself malfunctioning. The iDryFire software itself kept crashing as soon as it opened. I tried this on two different PCs. I do not recommend buying this product. Great in theory, but useless in practice.
  2. I recently shot a USPSA stage that involved running to a table, retrieving gun, and then running to another location to obtain magazines. I was running at such a fast pace that when I picked up my Glock from my table, my forward momentum caused me to whip the gun almost behind me. Didn't break the 180 but close.
  3. I stay away from caffeine. I am jittery and anxious enough. I find that most supplements and energy drinks have a hard crash anyways for me
  4. Mine does not work with the 20-round PMAGs. Disappointed.
  5. I run a Nordic extension without the clamp. I figure that it's better to invest in a quality extension and not need anything else.
  6. I run a #11 with no issues.
  7. Also, you can find some of these parts even cheaper in the Classifieds section.
  8. Thank you! I'm buying a few now. Had very good experiences with their 21/22 round 9mm mags.
  9. Tagged, would like to know this myself. I do have a backup gun but would rather not need to lug it around to every match.
  10. For my GSF lower, I use GCode kydex -- about $12 used on eBay. It's not adjustable but good for the money.
  11. Five total, I think I could get away with only four.
  12. I have been using Taran Tactical Glock basepads. Happy so far, but there are a couple mags that do not drop-free even with the added weight. I am guessing they are not the drop-free style magazines.
  13. SLRs have been great for me. I've been looking at some of the Geissele blemished rails too.
  14. Been wondering about this myself, thanks for posting. Tagged for later review
  15. This is great. Glock users have been stuck with somewhat overpriced factory mags for too long. Glad that companies are now responding to the needs of buyers.
  16. I would look at the sights first. I dropped my Glock 43 the other day from about standing height, and it knocked the plastic rear sight noticeably to the left. I imagine that a less severe shift could happen that might not be as noticeable.
  17. I've been eagerly waiting for these to be released. Where did you guys buy them from? I bought my 9mm ETS mags from Botach but they don't seem to carry the .40 mags yet.
  18. I run KKM Precision barrels in my competition Glocks, but have recently been hearing a lot of buzz about Agency Arms. The company has released some data comparing the accuracy/precision of their barrels against other brands (Zev, Salient, etc.) but I don't know if I want to take the plunge yet. Anyone have firsthand experience with Agency Arms? Thanks in advance.
  19. Taran is the standard. They had a 15% off sale for the holiday. If you wait, you can find other deals. Dawson would be my close second choice.
  20. I run the silent capture system in my 9mm AR15. I can tell a difference. However, if I could do it over, I wouldn't buy the JP system. I would put some grease in my buffer tube and get identical results. Didn't know that at the time though.
  21. Forgot to mention -- if you are looking for the cheapest, most economical 9mm Glock lower, I'd recommend Spartan. JoeBob's has some in stock for $150-170 with free shipping. I hear decent things about PSA too.
  22. Look at Quarter Circle 10's Glock stripped lowers. They run about $275 plus shipping. Lone Wolf also makes one, but it's a bit spendier and I've had some quality control issues with Lone Wolf's Glock frames.
  23. I have a QC10 dedicated Colt-style lower. Wish I had gotten the Glock version instead. I believe that Glock mags require a modification to the bolt though.
  24. 9mm with a suppressor. With subsonic loads, it is almost movie quiet. It's a big hit at the range too, especially with newer shooters or females shooters.
  25. eBay -- I saw a lightly used JM-1 sell for $1050 over the weekend. Wish I had the funds for it.
