  1. MarkCO would probably be a better source on this than myself but in my experience a mid length typically has between a .075 and .085 port size. Even the .075 would be a 21% increase over your .067.
  2. Any carbon steel sheet stock will work (approx. 16 ga. (.060)), SS would also work, E70 filler for CS, 309 filler for dissimilar metals if you use SS.If you use hot roll CS it will TIG weld much cleaner if you remove the mill scale first. I did my FN lifter myself and it works fine but the Benelli package that Accurate Iron did for my Benelli and included a C-Rums lifter had a much nicer finish than my flat black paint job. Hard to beat the value of a C-Rums lifter job.
  3. PMC is clean and accurate but anemic, I had to shoot MG Nationals 2011 for no score because my PMC went sub-minor at chrono. I had plenty of Black Hills 69 SMK for long range but submitted the PMC for chrono. A word to the wise, it tested at 149.3 when 150 was needed. First squad in the morning, later may have passed with higher ambient temperatures.
  4. Brownells (on B/O) 910-000-341WB Factory U111770104 and U1117701 (from Brownells SX2 schematic)
  5. Not only is the drive a little shorter for me but the hotel selection is great and the restaurant selection and quality is also very good. Combined with a great match what more can you ask for?
  6. Southwest was great to deal with on the two flights I've taken. Also my gun case (Pelican 1750 with 3 guns) did not go to the regular carousel. It is held at the Southwest baggage claim area and is watched over until you claim it and show ID. I was relieved it was not out there for anyone to pick up.
  7. American Shooters 3440 Arville St. 89102-8167 is accepting ammo, mark your name and USPSA Nationals.
  8. AI is doing a complete package. Lighten bolt, ghost load mod, charging handle, release, NC extension, grip and forearm stippling, open up loading port, etc., etc.
  9. He probably means SGC (Scottsdale Gun Club - Scottsdale AZ) Check with Michael Murphy and Sons, I received my 24" M2 on 8-5 from them which was ordered in April and he had two more that came in with mine. Mike Cyrwus (Accurate Iron) is whipping mine into shape right now and I'm anxious to get it back.
  10. The end of the stadia lines are 20 mph references and the small hash marks half way out are 10 mph.
  11. To all who requested the Swaro calculator I saved to my desktop (caz41, alaskapopo, c-rums, grywlfbg, etc.), when I attempted to send the whole file (10MB), even compressed to 5MB my email program after raising the file limits would not handle it. I did try. The stadia lines on the BRT reticle are 1 mil apart.
  12. I downloaded the program onto my desktop rather than going to the Swaro site every time. It is for the 1-6 BRT, I may be able to email the file if someone is interested. I can try.
  13. Did you make any modifications to your SLP Mark I? I just purchased mine a few weeks ago and it will not reliably cycle the Winchester Universal bulk. It seems to like the Federal and the Remington just fine. Sorry for the double post. I haven't done anything regarding the function, just welded the lifter and smoothed it and hand filed a bevel to the loading port for easier loading.

  15. My JP 20" 1 in 8 and both my Noveskes' (14.5" and 18" 1 in 7) shoot 55's just fine. 5 shot 100 yd .358" w/ the JP. I believe twist is not the issue.
  16. My SLP has approximately 400 rounds through it. The bottom of the left hand bolt carrier groove is down to the aluminum from about 2/3 of the way to the rear of the ejection port and back. The right hand is wearing slighly on the ridge just below the ejection port. Nothing I would term as excessive. Cleaned after every outing (except one 2 day match I shot in) and lubed sufficiently with Slip 2000 EWL synthetic gun oil. Runs everything I've put in it including Wal Mart Winchester bulk.
  17. My checked was cashed also and never received a confirmation from Polle. She responded within a couple of days of my email and had been very busy with other matches and was very apologetic. A few of us must have slipped between the cracks. A cashed check is a very good sign.
