  1. I have one. It's ok. I like the JP I just got a little better
  2. I am pretty sure if you have a round in the chamber and a round on the lifter and a round in the tube when you pull the trigger you are going to have a nice double feed that is going to be a huge pain in the ass to fix while on the clock. I could be wrong though... The round on the lifter keeps the other round in the tube. It would not double feed. It's no different than normal. If it did, what would stop the shotgun from double feeding a round every time you fired the gun?I know during dry fire using dummy rounds if I don't get one all the way in the tube and it slides under the lifter and I pull the trigger it releases another from the tube which puts one and a half on the lifter which will not allow it to move. During live fire there is not a round on the lifter when you pull the trigger.

  4. They will fit. Get a punch that fits into the threaded hole and bottoms out, then tap them in with a hammer. They will be snug, which is the point.
  5. Bench grinder with a buffing wheel for the outside. 12ga mop with flitz in a drill for the inside
  6. The shooter source is doing 10% off only through today
  7. Those are not "J"HP. The J stands for jacketed those are plated. They are awesome though.
  8. I take that loaded cartridge bin, turn it upside down and sit it on the bench beside the press. Then I set a plastic bowl on top of it to hold loaded rounds... Works well and no torque issues
  9. Since it is stamped .223 I would bet that it is .223
  10. I think that solution may work against you. My thoughts are you will have to push the shells in further with your thumb and it will be harder to make sure they are caught by the shell catcher or you run the risk of having one slide under the lifter... which is a HUGE problem during a stage.
  11. Thanks! I have one coming. Can't wait to get it welded and back in my hands
  12. I say 3. what is the over under?
  13. They are on back order. I would be happy to buy one and do that but they don't have any. I would even be willing to buy someones spare that had done that and then thy could buy it back in a couple of weeks I just want to get this done without losing a couple weeks of practice before the Freedom Munitions match in 2 weeks or so
  14. Anyone have a spare lifter they would be willing to part with. I want to try a welded one and I don't want to be without my shotgun for a couple of weeks
  15. What type of lube are you using when you are having this problem? I have used CLP and also the red oil made by gun butter
  16. If I lube the outside of the magazine tube even lightly by the end of a match the bolt gets lethargic and sometimes will not eject a spent round. In defense of the gun I run the cheapest shells I can find. RIO, Estate, etc. The gun doesnt get very dirty but it doesnt like lube
  17. If I oil mine much at all it will not run, it runs better when dry and I mean DRY as in no lube anywhere. Where do you lube these, I don't really like running it dry?
  18. Make sure you get new shorts... I know I needed some when it happned to me
  19. I am running a +4 with a +1 cap from the shooters source. I can easily load 2 after the beep
  20. I always use the word "need" when I want to buy something...
  21. wow... I loaded a bunch of HDY 75's with 22.5 grns of TAC yesterday. I didn't chrono as I was looking for accuracy only. I got .6 MOA (I was shooting 100 yards) with this load. Using Tula SRM primers. As I went a little hotter 23.0 the group opened up a little to about 1.5 moa. 22.5 cycled my rifle fine and brass ejected about 4:00. But seeing this now I am thinking they are too light... I need to shoot some 200 and 300 yards and see if they run out od steam...
  22. I have a +4 and a +1 cap and I get 10 easily you should be able to get 11 easily with a 5 and a 1
