  1. I have shot many thousands of Bayou bullets and been through every coating he has used. The new coating is great! Donnie is a great guy and delivers a quality product. For $.07 a round for 124grn round nose it is hard to beat. I have used bear creek molly they are ok but the coating gets on your fingers. I used precision moly and I could't get them to group but I didn't try really hard, I just moved on. I had some sample packs of the blue bullets and I didn't care for them but I probably only had about 50. Rainier are great but too damned expensive. X-treme are awesome for pistol but I couldn't get their .223 bullets to group. They are a great supporter of our shooting sports.
  2. SVI super comp guns will have a 9mm IBF and are pretty reliable...
  3. I have had that problem for a couple of months. I did a system restore back several monthsbandbingot the ability back for a bit but it went away again. I just use my pc at work no issues there
  4. You may have done this already but I leave the die lose when adjusting them until I run a case up into it and then I tighten the lock not. This seems to center the die better
  5. I shoot at that range quite a bit and I stay at the La Quinta in Conyers. Looks like they have rooms. It is a pretty nice place but it isn't super 8 cheap 1184 Dogwood Dr, Conyers, GA 30012
  6. I use Tula small psitol primers never had a light strike but I run the XL firing pin also
  7. I wish there was an alternative that was as easy to use
  8. I am pretty sure you can't ship a handgun through USPS at all, Long guns are ok.
  9. You may need to only ream the barrel, the extractor may work fine. You can still run 9mm in the super chamber if you choose to...
  10. Just sell them and buy STI tubes. They are not hard to get any more.
  11. We shoot local matches around here for practice. Kind of like test and tune night at the drag strip... What bullets did he use? Plated, Moly or jacketed?
  12. Who is the first??? My son put it in prespective for me I was bitching about the price of C-More batteries and he said "oh, for the scope on your 5K pistol you are worried about a battery that cost $4.00" lol
  13. so you have a $400 scope sitting in a $200 mount on a $1,500 rifle and you don't want to spend the $60 on a switch view? J/K I like it! I just saw on FB where one of my friends broke his switch view throwing his rifle in a dump barrel this would be something to keep in your bag of tricks.
  14. In my opinion you can't go wrong with the STI Aluminum grip for a 3 gun or IDPA type of gun... I have 2 and have had no issues at all in about 6k rounds. Ands with the Dawson grip tape they look great!
  15. I say if you are going to get the PE and no warning then just shoot them all on the move from one position to the next Don't even try and use cover... Only stop moving to reload
  16. It's very dense a whole pound doesn't even come close to filling up the powder measure
  17. For open this is a no brainer. Red dot on the 45 is super quick
  18. I think 1-4 is the best option. I found the BDC dot reticle to be right on with my rifle. It is a cheap home built 20" rifle not the ideal 3 gun set up so your results may and probably will vary
  19. If you get a 1050 it has a built in swager so you wont have to worry about that. Minimum investment would be a 550 and no case feeder or trimmer. That also has maximum time investment. Good would be a 650 case feeder and a tool head set up with an RT-1200 trimmer and a super swage. Better add a bullet feeder. Best 1050 with all the toys
