  1. I got ond a couple months ago from Mark. This will be my first season with it. Can't wait. Might even use it sporting clay shooting just to practice.
  2. Eku I had that very problem in a 34 I just got. Got the comp spring pack with the plunger, lite striker and x power trigger spring. It would not reliably engage the trigger safety . So I went back to the factory trigger spring. No problem after that. I didnt notice much difference in the two springs anyway .
  3. Tbeazle, Thanks that's good to hear. I have a couple pounds of titegroup I need to use. I'll probably switch powder after that sounds like there are some good alternatives like Silhouette and N320. Glad to hear you've had good luck with the 9mm. I have read good things about Bayou Can't wait to try them out. Thanks for the advice
  4. Thanks Dan, wasn't sure the rail was strong enough for just a stud. I can do that easily enough
  5. Would it be best to get a small piece of rail, attach it to the bottom and buy a sling mount? The evolution hand guard only has a rail along the top. I was going to run the rear through the stock
  6. Just got my order of 180 grain Bayou Bullets. I normally use Titegroup and was wondering what a good start load might be. Thanks
  7. Just got my 3G1 and need to get a sling for it. I read good things about the Vtac. Was think about ordering one, but was wondering what is the best way to attach it to the rifle. It doesn't have a sling stud, so I'll have to put something on the hand guard. Thanks
  8. That's what I want to go to once I save some money up. Very nice. I am sure it will serve you well.
  9. I have a lone wolf and haven't had any problems with it. I use 9mm mags. Probably 1000 rounds through it
  10. Curious as to what sights you ended up going with?
  11. Good information in this thread. I was going to order some Montana Gold, but will be giving Bayou Bullets a Try. Thanks
  12. I would have to vote for the G35 as well. IMHO best all round Glock
  13. I know they normally shoot IPSC the day before. I was thinking 4 stages, but I have never shot one of the pistol matches. Though this year I plan to make a few.
  14. My dealer just got in a factory refurbished g34 for me. Once I get it I can tell you how they do reconditioning. Though it is a glock
  15. I just got a stag 3G . Really like the feel of it but haven't had it to the range. Of course anything would feel better than my 16 inch carbine that I was using. The 3G had everything I was looking for
  16. Doe's Warne sell a front sight to use with the Ramp or just the adapter? I couldn't find one on their website
  17. Can someone please PM me the contact information for the new Sleep Inn? Going to book my room and try to make this match. Thanks
  18. You'll love the 35, it's my favorite glock. Get a set of Warren's or Heinie's and your good to go. Good luck
  19. Just got my Stag 3G (I am replacing my A4 carbine with this for 3 gun)and am using a Warne Ramp mount on it. I have always had a BUIS on the Carbine(though it had a Larue and Folding front sight). I thought about sticking my ARMS BUIS on the Ramp and purchasing a Dueck Defense Rapid Transition Front Sight. Has anyone done this? If so how did it work? My other option is to buy 30mm rings for my Larue mount, mount the BUIS under the scope and get a fold down front sight. I don't know that I really need to do this, but I think it would give me peace of mind at least this gives me something if the scope should fail. Or should I just chuck the BUIS altogether? Also, from what I understand this type of set up is still allowed in tactical. Any advice from the more experienced shooters would be appreciated. Thanks
  20. I haven't received any e-mails from the MD about next year yet. Probably should be hearing something soon

    Glock 34 mods

I think all you need is sights, I do like the vanek trigger, maybe a magwell and some extended base pads to increase mag capacity
  22. I grew up shooting 1911 and have switched to Glocks for most of my pistol matches. Mag capacity is king and you'll get used to the trigger pull. You may want to look at warren or heinie sights with a fo front. Much nicer sight picture than stock. Good luck
  23. GSSF qualifiers if your a member of that organization. CMP is a great deal for m1s. Nothing like that ping
  24. I am going to try to make this match. Hopefully I can get in. This sport is addicting, not to mention hard on my wallet.
  25. I'm partial to Heinies as well. Stock sights are horrible
