  1. go for the pro chrono, it does the same as the ced, but allot cheaper, and more easy to set up. my prochrono reads the same velocities, as the ced and the pvm 21, on my ammo.
  2. i also use an svi old style 160mm mag, without spacers, runs perfect in my sti, my 140mm mags have arredondo spacers, grams springs / followers, and dawson basepad, they run also without any problems. i load my 9mm to 29.4 mm oal.
  3. inner belt overlap in the front, and outer belt overlap on the back, works the best for me (i'm shooting open.)
  4. try using boretech eliminator or boretech cu2 copper remover, this is the best on the market today.
  5. i also never had any problem in the past couple of years, when depriming live primers.
  6. a better system to catch the spent primers, i have had a sd, 550 and now i have a 650, but on all of these machines the primers are all over the. do something about the snappy shellplate the possibility to buy upgrade kits for the old presses. a primer system that can hold 500 primers instead of 100. cheap primer tube filler a light that fits in the middle hole of the toolhead. the possibilty to swage primer pockets on a 650. bulletfeeder
  7. i also use s&b, geco, sk and cbc brass all mixed, but they work fine for me, only the sk is a little bit difficult to seat the primers, but s&b uses a new type of brass since this year, in wich it is more easy to seat a primer, but i only use mixed headstamps for training, for matches i use only cbc brass. i also find it more difficult to seat murom primers, than federal primers.
  8. yes and that's the problem i live in holland, so calling is expensive and my english speech is not very good.
  9. yes i tried that, but no reaction.
  10. with another basepad on your sti magazines (2011) you can get 15 rounds in it, and i think that if you modify the follower 18 and probably 20 rounds could be possible.
  11. steelchallenge & ipsc training / .22lr ipsc matches.
  12. i load, 6.9 grns vihta n350, 124 grn fmj rn, 29.4mm col, shoots pf 166 out of my sti shorty, 3 port comp no holes.
  13. i had a berry's, wich broke, within a year, less than 100 rounds, after that i purchased an topshot bullet puller, the steel rod broke with less than 100 rounds, now again i have a topshot, see how long this one will hold on. btw i use an rcbs shellplate for a rockchucker, instead of the provided collets that come with the bullet puller.
  14. i use my 9mm brass about 6 to 7 times, and after that i load it one more time and leave it at a match, i even have batch of 1000 pieces, that's been loaded more than 15 times to major, and still there are no primers falling out. also my 9mm shorty open gun shoots flatter than my full size open .38super gun, there's no need to put holes in the barrel, with a 9major.
  15. look for oerlikon balzers in the usa.
  16. my english isn't very good also. but does anyone know the email adres, from advanceperformanceshooting ??
  17. no it's not, i asked him myself about this grip yesterday, and he said it's a grip that the shooter ordered himself in the u.s. if it was a v mulekom custom grip, i would have ordered it when he builded my gun.
  18. ok thnx. i thought it was a grip from http://www.advancedperformanceshooting.com
  19. yes i did the same last year, just swap the dies, and you good to go.
  20. frame and slide are coated with balinit-c and the barrel is coated with balinit-d from oerlikon balzers in belgium this is also possible. ballinit helica on slide and frame, and ballinit lumena on the thumbrest, slidestop, mag button, safety, comp and barrel. my coating is one of the cheapest available, and it costs about 250 euros, but the prices can go up to 800 euro's depending on the coating you want. it takes about 2 weeks, and the glossy or matt finfish can be achieved by the work that is done before your gun gets coated and also available in gold.
  21. nope, bin there done that. .38super has straight case while a 9mm has a tapered case
  22. does anybody know, wich grip this is??
