  1. I believe these will fit on the TAC30 - Butler Creek flip-up covers #2A (front) and 19 (rear).
  2. I have butler creek covers on the front and back of mine. Work fine. (other than that the front one broke at the hinge this week) Mine did come with Bikini covers.
  3. OK add me to "The List" I just went and dropped a dime on a pair, I will see how they do in Colorado this week Be careful. Ease into them. They take some getting used to and you can get really sore really quickly if you wear them for too long at first. It is recommended for runners to start out only running 10% of your normal distance in them when you first get them. I wore mine around the house for a week or two before I tried running in them. Just a word of caution. Would hate for you to be super sore for the second and/or 3rd day of a competition.
  4. Trying to stretch out a pair of Sprints (48s)right now, just a little snug. Only problem with the VFFs at BOTW is the rocks. Can be painful while running between shooting positions. I tried to run many times in my life, but knee pain always stopped me. Starting running in VFFs in June, completed my first 5K at the end of August and have signed up for a Half Marathon in Feb. No knee pain what so ever.
  5. So should my size 48 (US 15) Vibram Five Fingers just stay home?
  6. Is this the thread? pg 6 http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=84338&st=0&p=973578&fromsearch=1entry973578 Has lots of good slp info.
  7. I believe the MTAC does not have an auto shutoff, but the TAC30 does. I don't think I've ever used the illumination on my TAC30. I do not think the TAC30 has an auto shut off. At least mine was still on 5 hrs later when I realized I left it on the other night.
  8. Agree that the human factor could make it unfair. I think that most RO's out there would not try to screw you (throwing while relaoding) but the possibility is there. I would not mind much at a local level but I would not want to see this at a larger match.
  9. Any time I do not DQ and have fun, I am happy. Lots of water, and I keep a few Cliff bars in my bag.
  10. Blue receiver and I believe the barrel is different. Worth $300??? If there are any internal differences I am not aware of any. Still needs to have the gate welded so it does not bite.
  11. Agree. I think next year will fill up much faster than this year.
  12. Just bring tham back the way they are! That way the new dust can mingle with the old dust! ROFL! I prefer the original Dillo Dust!!!
  13. Thank you Sir. I debated drawing and running or drawing at the destination. I think I am still concerned with what happens if I trip and drop the gun or break the 180. Besides the safety concern, worried about DQ'ing. I will try to remember to hold higher during transition. Thanks. Alden
  14. And half another stage (missed the shotgun portion)
  15. Match last week. I feel good about the stage overall. (this is my 4th or 5th match) Already spotted a couple things, but looking for help from the Wise Ones. Thanks, Alden
  16. Cdrissel Cat Tail is gtg, love mine.
  17. covered with screw on caps.
  18. +1 on the raffle. Not sure I will be able to make the shoot.
  19. I found I had to mess a little with how tightly I screwed down the battery cover/switch cap to get the electrical contact quite right. Cattail is a must, the zoom ring is very stiff! +1 on the cat tail. much easier to adjust zoom.
  20. I added a plus one for the same reason.
  21. I wish they would respond to my request for a shell lifter that wouldn't amputate my left thumb. I know some people have them welded up but I was told the extra weight could stress the spring and make it unreliable. When C-Rums welded mine, he cut a slot in it as well, assume to offset the extra weight.
