  1. If you have not already, please "Like/Follow" Texas Multigun on Facebook. We are trying to mirror the info that is posted here and there, but something might get missed. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Texas-Multi-Gun/108899055834981 Thanks, Alden
  2. As Sheldon said, we are in crunch mode working all day to put the best match on for all of you. We can not wait for all y'all to get here, chow down on LaRueBQ and shoot a great match.
  3. ROs... Be at BOTW no later than 7:00 am Saturday morning. Shooters meeting to commence shortly thereafter.
  4. Good list, but shooters - please don't get too attached to your chair. If I had a dollar for every time I was downrange taping or resetting only to realize the majority of the squad was sitting on it's collective ass - I could retire today. Taping and resetting is a team sport - and with over 400 shooters in this match, all are expected to play. I'll get off my soapbox now. Agree 100%. Chair only to be used if you are waiting on the squad ahead of you.
  5. Bring everything you would need to be outdoors for 3 days... because you will be. BBQ and drinks will be provided, but bring everything you will/think you might need. Water/Gatorade/etc Snacks Eye Pro Ear Pro Shemagh/scarf/hat/head cover (with wind it can get crazy dusty) Sun Screen Bug Spray Rain Gear Trash bags to cover your guns/gear in case of rain. Chair (you will have downtime)
  6. I believe LaRue will have water and sodas available. Not a bad idea to bring your own as well, but water should be available near the LaRue War Wagon.
  7. Marcy and Sheldon asked me to post the following. Shooters need to make every effort to register Thursday April 19th at the Best of the West shooting range. http://texasshootingrange.com/ Registration will be open from 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm Thursday April 19th. We have 432 shooters registered!!! We need 99% of you to register Thursday evening. We will only be able to register so many shooters (not many) Friday morning before the Shooters meeting (which last year was around 7:00 am). If you absolutely can not register Thursday, registration will open Friday morning at 6:00 am. We will not run late. We will shoot on time. There are a ton of shooters, and for everyone's enjoyment, we have to run on schedule. It is the shooter's responsibility to register and be at your stage when it is your squad's turn to shoot. Thanks everyone, this is going to be a great match.
  8. I would give BOTW a call at 512-355-3486 and verify with them. Thanks.
  9. When are you getting in? http://www.gtdist.com/GTAUSTSHOWROOM.htm should work if they are open. Other wise there should be some walmart/academy locations between you and there.
  10. Reminder. We will be shooting Friday April 20th, Saturday April 21st and Sunday April 22nd. (You will shoot all 3 days) Registration is open Thursday afternoon April 19th till 6 pm at Best of the West. There will be "LIMITED" registration Friday morning, but please make every effort to register Thursday afternoon as shooting will begin early each morning. (Specific start times and other info will be posted as they become available)
  11. Not sure on the type of targets we will be shooting buckshot at, but 00 Buck is what you will need. There is nothing in the official rules that addresses buck shot size. So should I assume the match director (General Chang) has officially made the ruling that only 00 buck is allowed, and that 000, 1,2,3, or 4 buck is specifically not allowed? When I asked him what size I needed to buy, he told me 00.

  13. Done...2013 will be Vietnam Era if Bryan brings his 151a1 down. Where did here this..."Don't reinact scenes from Platoon with Charlie Sheen"? But, I doubt Charlie Sheen will be there. http://youtu.be/k2ZYIdmdx14
  14. Done...2013 will be Vietnam Era if Bryan brings his 151a1 down. Vietnam Division...pistol and shotgun rules same as for this year's WWII Division, and either Light (iron sight AR15 w/16" or 20" barrel) or Heavy (iron sight basic M1A), full size FALs (for the Aussies) and semi-auto M60s allowed at MD's discretion? I like where this is headed.
  15. There is a $5 fee for this. Please help support a great organization.
  16. Not sure. Here in Cedar Park (about 30 min away) we had a few rain drops, then nothing.
  17. 200 rifle, 150 pistol, 75 birdshot, 10 slugs, 10 buckshot Round count will be less for WWII and Heavy, but bring plenty of extra just in case.
  18. If you have Ports, remember me fondly when placing them. Yup placing them all super low so you will have one hell of a time. :-) Revenge of the short guy! ;-) That works. Super Low and I can just take a knee.
  19. If you have Ports, remember me fondly when placing them.
  20. Hope to have the stage descriptions soon. Sheldon, Marcy and Crew are very busy getting all the finishing touches together.
  21. The TXMG Championship dates are 04/20-04/22. With sign-in the evening of 04/19 (I believe) The ROs are shooting 04/14-04/15.
