Thanks for the button tips. But I was more concerned with the connection and the software. Is it really as simple as connecting red and black wires and enabling the stop button in the sensor menu?
My FFB expander, expands way too much. 0.230" and the bullet just falls in. Retried the .223" expander and the 55gr bullet stays in place even at 1800.
I am coming from a 650 and was hand placing bullets. All brass was sized and trimmed with a RT1200. Hoser 55gr FMJBT bullets were just seated in trimmed brass with a light taper crimped. LR 77gr bullets were seated in a cases that were necked expanded with a sinclair mandrel to .223 and no crimp.
So far I tested using the .223 mandrel with the Mr Bullet feeder and at 1200rph the bullet does tip on index. I was able to shove the bullet into the case by pressing the round into the work bench. I added more crimp and I am now not able to press in the bullet.
The Fast and Friendly Brass neck expander is .230". Is that for a more reliable activation of the MBF? Would the bullet fall in too deep with the 55s? With the 77s they wouldn't because of my compressed load.
What are others doing? Expanding? To what? Crimping? To what?
Thanks in advance.
Again, I think its great that some people have MKA1919s that run and run well. The carrier on my MKA1919 Match snapped twice. Maybe I just got a bad one.
10rd mag? 12rd mag? 12rd with 13 stuffed in it? Was it hot out? A lot of guys are putting shells in coolers now to keep the hulls stiff. I haven't tried close bolt with 12rds in the mag. But a staged gun loaded with slugs and 11 in the mag, I have not experienced any issues.
The B&P slugs are by far the most accurate slugs I have ever shot but they would not cycle my M2 so I just gave them away. Never revisited with my V12 since they were so low recoil.
If you are going to spend $1000 on a match all in then 99.999% doesn't cut it. On the other hand I am glad you have a MKA1919 that runs. Mine broke way too many times. I would almost just throw it in the trash. The guys are T&N are great but I dont think the MKA1919 is cut out for thousands and thousands of rounds.
I'm having good luck with the Aero 7/8oz.

Yes. I wouldn't have head to the range if I had not tested it first. lol
It's probably 1/4" from resetting trigger. Higher PF ammo might work but I like my load and will just stick with the 3 stage non short stroke.
