What OAL were you using? I am at 1.14" minor PF loads.

Well I stuck the stock recoil spring back in and the problem seems to have gone away. I only fired 100 rounds but not one fail to feed. I will keep shooting it to see if that fixes it.

I am going to try 12lb and 13lb springs and I will report back.

Is this the nose dive problem everyone is talking about? I am using stock STI mags. I swapped out the 12lb spring for a 10lb spring. My rounds are loaded to 1.14" It happens about once a mag. At least once a mag with the factory mag. A karate chop to the slide gets me in battery. So what's the fix? Heavier recoil spring? 9mm OAL change?

I used a TLR1 HP which is great because of the narrow beam. That coupled with a Green Rail Master Pro and I blasted through that stage. I finished 17, only 2 seconds from 10th. I flood light headlamp was definitely a detriment to people.

What an awesome match! Thanks a ton for putting it on. Biggest takeaway: Too much light is worse than too little light, especially once the dirt/dust starts flying.

Anyone have a close to the range hotel/motel recommendation? Cheap is good but clean is better.

Does anyone use a laser in Open, since anything goes? Seems like it would be helpful for the zipline. But since it is so bright out a green laser might not even help.

Are we checking in the day before? If so, what is the registration time window on Saturday.

30 cal ammo can for troopers is still a go? Webpage still says tall 50 cal can. Prepping gear now so I want to double check.

KCI maybe? My JR runs great with 10, 17, and 33rd factory mags. Spring could be weak but unlikely. Mag was seated fine. Only my mouse fart reloads.

Not sure what fitting people are talking about but I bolted on a Mesa tactical pg stock and the gun runs fine. However the bolt was lightened by accurate iron prior to the install.

"I would rather pay the fee than help". Its not that I would rather not help its just too much to help out. I would have to drive 1 hour each way and work for 4ish hours just to get to shoot the match for free. Our fee is $20. I would gladly pay 50-100% more in order to pay someone to setup. For anyone that complains about the increase offer them the opportunity to setup a stage.

I am working through this right now as well. I spin my right/strong hand until the bottom of my hand points to 10 o'clock and the barrel slightly point up (Stock can be captured by armpit for support) and then jam the shells in with my left/support hand in a forward/upward sweeping motion. But my arm may not like the twist so I may go the flip, stock on shoulder, strong hand forward and downward sweep. Still working on it.

Time to start a higher end thread. Well, I am all set to buy a Vortex HD II JM but I figured I would ask if there are any other options under $2k. Seems the top of the market is $2500, except for the S&B, but $2500 is a bit steep for me. I am upgrading from an IOR 1.5-8. I really prefer a true 1x because most of the targets are close in.
