Running a 13" Troy TRX over a shaved FSB on my 16" S&W MP15.
Light weight, small diameter, very solid and IMO not a bad price at $189. Weighs .71 lbs(11.3 oz) according to troy.
Loaded, my carbine balances nicely at the front of the mag well
Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to put this match together and keep it running smoothly.
The match was great fun and the entire staff did a terrific job running and maintaining the stages despite the weather.
This was my first "major" match and I had a great time!
Thanks again!
Shot this one at Pitcairn-Monroeville SC yesterday.
Single Stack major ---- 23.11sec 9-A, 6-C, 3-M for a Hit Factor of 1.6876 a whopping 24.70% according to the calculator
Was the high shooter for the stage in SS
Looks like someone is staying in C class for a while
I like this idea but would rather see shooters able to use
Production or Single Stack pistol but use the SS capacity rules and scoring (10 rds for minor, 8rds scored major)
So the "new guy" would have a chance to compete (and still be competitive) with the pistol they already own.
but then I'm the "new guy", so what do I know
Been lurking here for a while, reading and gathering information. Great site! I finally decided to register.
I'm 33yo from SW Pa and this is my first year shooting USPSA. Met a lot of great people and am having a great time. Wish I'd have started doing this years ago.
I shoot a Kimber SIS in single stack and look forward to learning as much as I can.
