  1. Highxj, that is some very impressive loading. Jesse, you better start practicing because you are no longer the fastest in the World.
  2. Called JP just now and they are sending me a new Buffer. I was a big fan of your products and now I am even a bigger fan because you back it up with customer service. thanks, James
  3. I have a JP Low Mass Buffer and the pin keeps walking out. The buffer only has about 500 rounds on it. I keep having to tap it back in after every 50 or so rounds. Any one else have this issue? Suggestions on how to keep it from repeating? Pic of the buffer below. Thanks
  4. NO difference in transitioning between the 18" & 20". To much drinking and reading Mayor?
  5. I have a 18" JP lw barrel on one rifle and a 20" JP medium on another. Both barrels are super accurate, I don't really notice the difference in transitioning from target to target, and the 18" has less muzzle flip/recoill than the 20". The reason for the less recoil is because of the 18" has the rolling thunder comp, the 20" has the JP Cooly comp. If more velocity is important to you go with the 20", if you like the feel of of a lighter rifle go with the 18" lw. Both barrels are more accurate than I could ever hope for. In summary, you can't go wrong with either barrel.
  6. Com-Tac gets my vote. I have both and prefer the fit of the Com-Tac.
  7. Dyno, with your 200yd zero, have you put the first circle around the dot on paper? I was hoping that the 6 o'clock position on the first circle would be somewhere between 350-475.
  8. Just got the Prismatic w/ the DCD reticle today. Can't wait to get it to the range the week. Can you guys let me know what zero you are using and what distance you are hitting at on the outer circles? Thanks
  9. It will definately be worth the wait. Please post pics.
  10. I have the Benny Hill Rolling Thunder and couldn't imagine any other comp working better. My muzzle doesn't move.
  11. I just got a 6" .40 cal that I will be using for 3 gun. It recalls so much less than my M&P Pro9 which I originally thought had little recall. The accuracy at 25 + yards is where the real separation happens. Seems that 3G matches are having much longer pistol shots and why not give yourself a little more sight radius for the longer shots. My vote is to go with the 6".
  12. I love my SS 1x4 with the Donut reticle. I switched from the TR24 to the SS and my long range shooting really improved. I too live in TX and very rarely do I use the illumination. Great scope for the price. I am very interested to see what the 1x6 looks like.
  13. Mo, Feb 5 is Superbowl Sunday. Would it be possible to have hammer down at 9:00am so we can all get back a little earlier to watch the game?
  14. Why not use your SVI .40 cal for 3 gun? You can get 20 rounds in the mag which is only 2 or 3 rounds less than you will get with a 9mm. With a minor .40 load, recall is no more than a 9mm. Use what you have, it won't slow you down.
  15. Another great match put on by 3MR. When is the next one so I can get it on the calendar?
  16. Mo, great match yesterday. Thanks for designing some really fun stages. Looking forward to the next one. James
  17. Is there a round count for this Sundays match? Do we need slugs? Thanks
  18. Great match and Stage 9 deserves its own name (maybe its own match). Calling it Stage 9 just does not do it justice. It was my matches "Death Valley".
  19. Ken, can you give us a little information on the distances for rifle stages and what the terrain looks like? Any other helpful details? thanks, James
  20. I have JP15 w/ 16" barrel w/ midlength gas and adjustable gas block. This gun has very little recoil compared to my 16 carbine without adjustable gas. I just got an 18" JP lightweight barrel w/ adjustable gas block on a new build and I am blown away by the reduction in recoil/impulse with the rifle gas even compared to my midlength gas which I thought was great until I shot the 18". My follow up shots are much quicker because I am staying on target much easier. My accuracy w/ the 18" is not any better than w/ my 16". FYI So yes you can get a 14.5" to shoot softly but you will never get it to shoot as soft as a 18" rifle gas system.
