I use 8.6 of true blue under 115grn frontier double strike, wsrp oal 1.165 and get 175 pf out of 5" sti with a kart bbl

if your powder is close to the rim, can I assume your loads are compressed.

I am r-handed and left eye dominant. when I shoot pistol 2handed I have trained my r eye to take over, been shooting for over 50 years and don't how I trained my non dominant eye to do this. When I shoot left handed I only use my left eye

IDPA tells you how, when and where to shoot.... USPSA usually will only give you a start position. This way you can the way that you think is best for your shooting style

I just saw your pics, there nice I would like to build one I have a we hi-capa but willing to start over. I would appreciate all the help I can get. By the way I shoot an open STI that I built myself.

I started out with a Delta elite 10mm. made B class with it.

I have a STI Matchmaster 9mm that was doing the same thing. I smoothed the scars on the mount then put some dykem on it, next I shaped the ejector. After about 500 rds not one jam or one mark on scope mount. 90 degree mounts are great, but not necessary.

take a break from shooting. by that I mean work a few matches but leave your gear at home. This will yell you if you really want to shoot or not

don't trust any data that's not from a manual. start light and work your way up. safety, safety, safety.

use federal primers and your troubles are over

I agree with sarge it's not needed on pistol brass. I clean primer pockets on all rifle brass.

I use 5.0 of unique under a 124 mtg at about 135 pf OAL is 1.165

don't trust the case gauge. I shoot 9major and have several different brands of case gauges. If I check 100rds in dillon case gauge all fit then I use an old gauge from midway I have about 5% that don't fit. If it's an important match which they all are I use my barrel.

Every CZ that I've had needed shorter oal. without exception they were all short chambered.
