Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Thanks for the reply, i'll give that a try
  2. Loading dummy rounds in with the live ones at random intervals. It works best when you have someone else load the mags, or you load several randomly and then go through them in no particular order. The idea is that when the gun goes "click" instead of "bang" you will see what the front sight does. When people are anticipating recoil, for example, you will see the muzzle dip sharply. So if the OP sees the front sight move left, he knows it's him and not the gun.
  3. I use 7.8 hs-6. 124mtg oal 1.165 This was a worked up load pf is 179 You should start around 6.8 or less
  4. Just because you have an R O card doesn't mean you are an RO at said match
  5. at a 3gun (outlaw) a rifle blew-up shooter was given a re-shoot with a different rifle. is that the norm or should the COF been scored as shot and shooter aloud to finish match with different rifle?
  6. No DQ. After the RO issues the "If you are finished unload and show clear (8.3.6)" command the shooter can still fire. If the RO gets to 8.3.7 "If you are clear, hammer down, holster (8.3.7)" then the shooter may not fire and doing so would be a DQ under 10.4.3. In this example, just because it surprised the RO doesn't mean it was a DQable offense. if the " if you are clear, hammer down, holster " has been given, competitor sees a target that was not engaged can he or she re-load and engage
  7. perhaps a re-loading class should be in your future
