Is it IDPA legal? Did anyone put in the box?

The only two I have seen at match wouldn't run a complete mag without a failure to feed. Maybe ammo or coincidence but that's what I saw.

If you plan on tuned mags order way ahead of time because in my experience mag tuners way underestimate the time it will take for you to have a tuned mag in your hand. I have been told "they will ship tomorrow" only to wait 2 more weeks and they still hadn't been shipped. Un tuned STI tubes, Grams spring and follower, with a Bolen 4mm basepad will give you 21 startable and 20 re loadable.

I use a Hornday LNL and just a plain Lee 4 die set and have no bulge problems. I shoot all the range brass I can find and most of it is from Glocks. I know it seems to easy.

Springfield, because an external extractor on a 1911 is like spitting in John Brownings eye.

WSF, WST, Clays. So you have a slow, med and fast powder for all occasions.

I have a Shadow Custom full rail and it will never be 39ozs. It weighs 38ozs without any grips or magazine inserted. I cant use it in IDPA at all.

I have been looking for a nickel mag tube for my Nova H20 for years. That TI one may be the way to go if they sell a raw one with no park. For all you Nordic fans I already contacted him and he said to silver chrome paint his parked tube to make it match.

The other thread on which follower for an STI tube got me thinking. Grams followers with STI tubes was the overwhelming choice. So what the overwhelming choice for basepads. I already seached and found the two main choices are the SNL or the 4mm Bloen. So between those which has the most internal space and lasts the longest hitting the ground? Edit to add .40 Cal 140mm STI bodies

I got 80% less smoke going from TG to WSF using the same lead bullets. Clays was even less smoke but it tumbled.

I have a MRP rifle length with a 16 in SS barrel. It will shoot .3 to .5 inch groups off a rest every time @ 100 Yds.

Unless you shoot IPSC sell off the 126 and get a 140mm they are the same price. It seems odd to me that they include 126s even with a 6 inch Eagle thats not IPSC legal. No way it fits the box.

At 2 different matches with different guys and different guns I saw that new Wally Federal consistently double feed in a gun that was working fine with Win White box the magazine before. And another striker fired pistol that wouldn't ignite the primers although Win White box also worked fine. Ahh, see here we go, after a bunch of searching around it seems that from what I've found that it's more likely that "Federal Champion" is really "Blazer Brass" (with cheaper, harder CCI primers) re-packedged into a new box rather than a "true" Federal offering (the theory is wallymart had them do this since when the ammo-shortege was in-effect last year LGS's were buying up all the Blazer Brass at $10 a box then putting it on their shelves and selling it at a mark-up). ATK is the parent company of both so that's why I'm asking (seems the FC = BB theory/story might check out...), I've inquired with the company but have never gotten an answer...

Really, you don't realize that STI only allows a max 10% discount off retail. Do you think its just a coincidence that every dealer is within 2 dollars of each other.

A Limited gun can never be major in 9mm. The sight radius is a non issue for open.

I use a 15lb but most people would go even lighter. The 15 feeds the SWCs better. Off topic but does your Range Officer serial number start with NM?

I have a Benelli Super Sport and don't shoot Sporting Clays anymore. What extra barrel fits it? I thought I would make it a Limited gun. I dont want to mess with the existing barrel, it has the perfect POI.

Every dealer has to sell STIs for a set price due to STIs price policy. Do any dealers ever offer incentives to buy from them? I am not looking for this thread to turn into if STIs price fixing is anti free market. I'm trying to find out what bonus items anyone has gotten with a new 2011.

Its funny that Sigs pro shooter uses an STI and they try to sell that X5 nonsense to the rest of us.

The video shows no die in the 5th station. You can easily just put the powder check in the 3rd position, bullet feeder in the 4th and crimp die in the 5th.
