Transitioning over from the IDPA world and looking to get into 3 gun. I have built ARs over the years and most have been the duty gun type. Standard chrome lined barrels. Thinking about what king of AR to setup for 3 gun and the literature i have read so far says that accuracy is pretty important. So I assume you need at least a MOA gun. My question is what upper / gun would you go with. Ranges will be within 500 yards Im pretty sure. For some reason the LMT MRP (DI) version seems appealing. Floated handguard, stainless match barrel. I just haven't printed one on paper and don't know if it would be a waste of money. I do have some experience with White Oak Armament barrels and they seem to be very accurate. 16" or 18"? thanks in advance, any input is appreciate.

Does anybody know the status of this scope. The Bushnell website lists it as "new" but every website I go to to purchase it says its discontinued. bushnell trophy 1-4 x 24

Hi, just starting to look into 3 gun comp. Shot competivetly over the years with a handgun & rifle but never with a shotgun. Are there any other 3 gunners near eastern SC?
