Hi guys, I'm planning on automating my 1050. I have a bunch off motors and reducers at my shop and was hoping that someone could save me some time by sharing the motor specs on their auto drive. Horsepower, voltage, rpm, torque, any info would be greatly appreciated. Even a picture of the tag on the motor nameplate would work. Thanks!

I hear you. I'm just a little further north than you and my shop flooded during Irene last year. I wasn't able to move back in until march because of insurance taking their sweet time to approve the claim and get the place gutted and rebuilt. Doing alot more prep work this time but if mother nature wants in, shes gonna get in. If we get flooded again, this will be the 3rd 100 year storm to cause flooding by me in 13 years. -
I use both but the ETMs seat alot easier. both feed perfectly.

Good "Forgiving" Powder for Newbie .45 & 9mm Progressive
addicted replied to Steve D.'s topic in 44/45 Caliber
I use 231 for 9 and 45. It works well for me and seems to be available everywhere. -
as far as i know, the m9a1 has the dust cover rail and different grip texturing. both the Italian and American made 92's are pretty much the same. I am not even sure if you can get an Italian made 92 that easily. I have an american 92 fs and I love it. No problems at all.

Most overlooked detail about the 1200B with 223
addicted replied to modex's topic in Dillon Precision Reloading Equipment
I run my lubed brass through my 650 with a standard Dillon decap/ size/ expander in station 1, trim die in station 2. then they get tumbled to remove the lube and get sent through again with no lube and a different tool head set up like this: I run boat tail bullets, and if i didn't have the bullet dropper i wouldn't even need the M die. 1 Lyman M die set to barely flare the mouth for the bullet dropper 2 powder 3 bullet dropper 4 seat 5 crimp -
Seems like a decent 223 bolt gun. reviews that i have found seem good, but most of them are. Price isn't terrible, even with the scope and bipod from the factory. Anyone have first hand experience with one?

im really interested in this gun as well. searching the web and someone posted that they called S&W and they said early to mid April delivery, but the initial order was only 2500 units. again, that straight off the web, so take it with a grain of salt. I love the m&p 40, so this would be really nice! only downside i see is no interchangeable back straps http://www.smith-wes...playErrorView_Y

I use Amsoil 10w40 4 stroke marine. I'm an Amsoil dealer, and i use that oil for my jet skis. i just bought a small squeeze bottle from mcmaster and let a few empty quart bottles drip into it overnight. have pretty much a lifetime supply. i played with other oils in the past and it seems that the thicker oils work better on my guns.

I did, just not with the hornady dropper. it works great.

i don't see why not. and for $23 its not a huge deal if it doesn't work. please try it and report back!

I have a mr bulletfeeder bullet dropper and i bought some plastic tubes from mcmaster. have the GF fill them up just like primer tubes and feed it like that. it does save time and risk because your fingers are removed from the pinch point of the press, however total labor goes up. if your making a ton of ammo , you will probably have a buddy there anywayto help feed the press and sort the finished rounds, so its trivial. . .

http://www.machinerypartsdepot.com/ had the best prices that I found online. had my order in 2 days and the follow ups were great. I highly recommend them.

what about these guys? http://www.machinerypartsdepot.com/ a friend suggested them. . . Ill also check out the ones suggested above. thanks!

Where do you guys buy your repair/ maintenance parts? I'm semi rebuilding my machine. need gibs, split nuts, chip wipers, and probably belts/ bearings for the head. Who do you buy your parts from? thanks

I have an accurite 3 axis on my Bridgeport, and mitutoyo on the one at work. no complaints either way. Couldn't imagine manual milling without them!

Is XL650 Priming System Quick Change Kit Worth It?
addicted replied to dcmdon's topic in Dillon Precision Reloading Equipment
if you have a few minutes to remove the shellplate and priming system, try to change the disk and tube and then decide if its worth your $$. i think you will decide to buy some bullets instead:cheers: -
Is XL650 Priming System Quick Change Kit Worth It?
addicted replied to dcmdon's topic in Dillon Precision Reloading Equipment
its not worth it , IMO. It takes about 1 minute to change the disk and tube on the upper assembly. it takes longer to wiggle the box wrench under the primer catch cup to remove the primer punch, and the quick change kit cant do anything about that. -
I like this show. Actually, for the past few years I have been making the trip down there to ride jet ski's with a few hundred others. There is some of the best flat water twisty trail riding on the planet down there, Our main stomping grounds is the bayous connected to lake verret, where they caught big head I heard that our favorite watering hole, Gros marine is on an upcoming episode. I really like seeing how different areas of the country all have different cultures.

So, i picked up a bag of 158gr JHP soft points from my local guy. I need to make up some round for a weekend trip with some buddies. 1 problem. No data for that bullet and either w231, or imr 700x. the only 2 pistol powders that I have. Anyone have any suggestions? Will be fired from a brandy new smith 686 4" barrel. no need to make any power factor, just a nice, fun to shoot load. Thanks!

Upgrading to a XL650 for 9mm
addicted replied to Boxerglocker's topic in Dillon Precision Reloading Equipment
a powder check on a 9mm case is kind of silly, IMO. powder is either clearly visable, or not there. leave the hole open for now,and save up for a bullet feeder. -
