If i were looking for a pocket carry gun that wasnt a wheel gun, I would get a Kahr PM9. I would take a Kahr over a Kel-tec any day.

Got mine today. I really like the color pics in the Caalog. The seperate 1911 and AR-15 sections at the front are a nice touch. Everything else seems to be in the same order as the previous caalog. Which is good, it wont take me a week to figure out where everything is. The new book doest seem as sturdy as the previous books. I hope it holds up the whole year.

i kind of expect problems out of mine. The truck is 21 years old. So far nothing to major. just the pain in the ass stuff that puts you out of driving for a few days.

roll back to tues, g/f car is leaking transmission fluid and makes a loud rattling sound when the engine is on. She takes it in to have it looked at. She borrows her parents car. wed, i notice that my brake peddle goes all of the way to the floor, I added some brake fluid so i could get home. Once im home i notice that the left rear brake is leaking. wed i get a ride to work from my g/f thursday, i get the brake torn apart enough to figure out what part i need. One part has to be ordered for an 'arm and a leg' the other parts are avail locally. I have my g/f stop and pick up the parts and the spare car breaks down. not only are we down one car, we are down 3 cars. Hopefully i can get mine fixed tomorrow. this really sucks! If i had money i would go buy a new car.

+1 I saw the DVD last night. I was pretty impressed. It was serious enough to make it interesting.

I recently received my extensions for my M&P40. They were kind of tight going on and the fit was great. It was easy to load 20rds (+5) into the mag. They were easy to seat in the gun fully loaded. At the range they functioned perfectly. The only problem i had was they fail to lock back when empty. The mag spring tension is a little light when the mags are empty. An extra power spring should fix that problem if/when they become available. Edited cause i cant spell

I have had excellent luck w/ Evergreen CR123 Lithium Batteres from TAD Gear. I have compared run time in my Surefire L4 and had similar results as Surefire batteries. At $44.40 for 40 batteries its a pretty good deal.

Well i finished off the VV N340 and decided to try out some Longshot (read LoudShot). I use 7.5grs under a 125gr HAP for 1358fps/ 170PF. I really like the way the gun shoots. There vertical movement is little to none and there is no lateral movement in the dot. It seems to be really soft of the brass and the primers look like they were shot w/ a minor load. Im really impressed w/ this load.

I forgot to remove the Tight Group from my powder measure when i deployed to Iraq for 14 months. Ive loaded several hundred rounds w/ no change at the chrono after being exposed to the temp and humidity in my garage. (25-95 deg and up to 90%humidity) I have stored my primers and powder in the garage for the last 15 years and havent noticed a change.

the guns ive seen done up in Np3, look like they are covered in gray duct tape. I didnt think it looked all that nice, but its a durable finish that protects the gun. You just have to decide if you like that finish or not.

I did the same thing a few weeks ago. I never tried shooting past the 200yd gong. But after i found my hold over i could hit it every time. Its pretty exciting to be able to shoot a pistol and make hits at 200 yds. It was a new load that i was chrono'ing, 125gr HAP over 7.6gr of Longshot.

Personally im not sure of my splits on poppers. I have done a plate rack in 1.80. I had faster runs but w/ a drop on a plate. If you could shoot this fast:

My local club is less than 40 miles round trip. They put on one USPSA match and one steel or 3gun match ever month. If i want to shoot on my off weekends its 360miles round trip. Its not worth it to me to drive that much to shoot a local match. Especially w/ current gas prices. It would cost me $45+ in gas to shoot a 3-4 stage match.

I know a little about computers, but that went way over my head. I'm connected to the modem now. How do i get a connection to work through the router?

Im having issues w/ my internet connection. Im hoping that one of you techno guinuses can help out. I have a cable modem and im normally connect from that to a 4 port router. Normally when i connect my PC to the internet i have a connection on the local area connection and then through a gateway that is coming from my router. My g/f has a Mac and i have a AirPort connected to the router. Until earlier today the way i had it set up worked. Here is the problem. I can connect directly to the modem but not through the router. My g/f has a Mac but she cannot connect directly to the modem or to her AirPort. Before i call the internet provider, i was wondering if anyone here could help me out? Do i need a new modem or router? Or is there something else going on? Ill be on for a few more hours. My AIM and Yahoo IM contact info is on my profile. Thanks

I bought 1x brass from Scharch for $89/k I bought Hornady 55gr FMJBT bullets from Midway for $58/k WSR primers i get for $20/k H335 is $19 per pound locally (about 3.6lbs to load 1k) $68/k = w/ 1x brass its gonna cost $235/k ($4.70 per 20) w/ used brass it will be $146/k ($2.92 per 20) Locally the cheapest 223 ammo is PMC going for $6.50 for 20

I guess i missed the last thread. I got mine when i was deployed to Iraq, from a friend that wanted to practice doing tattoos. He had never done anything like mine ie. shading the black and the red together. He did it for a wopping $35.
