I sent mine in about 10 days ago to trouble shoot some issues w/ the click switch. It arrived on my doorstep yesterday, fixed, and free of charge. Mine was about 7 years old. Great customer service.

sounds like a reason to get a new gun. not like any of us really needs a reason.

YES. But only to the grip area. As seen here in Appendix E4

I shot 3gun today. It was about 15 degrees on the rifle stage. I had no issues w/ my PMags the whole stage. You might have gotten some freezing condensation by removing your mags from your warm vehicle and using them right away. I wore my mags and pouch for about 45min b4 i shot. I have had excellent luck using the PMags. I would recommend them to anyone. Edited to add link for Todays Weather.

Must be rough. Im on my way to this months 3 gun match. Current temp is right around 1 degree. But the sun is shining and there is no wind. It should be a good day for a match. Until i have to remove my gloves to shoot.

According to the match application: 12 stages 300+ rounds 300 is not enough. I always do double + 10%. Id rather take to much than not enough.

Poll- What rifle bullet weight do you use?
stingerjg replied to Bear1142's topic in Rifle - Technical
I use 55gr FMJ-BT Hornady for everything out to 100-200 yards. Beyond that ive had great luck w/ Hornady 60gr V-Max and the 68gr BTHP bullets. Ive tried the 69grSMK's but my JP barrel prefers the 68's. Ive just started tinkering w/ some 73gr Berger match bullets and the 75gr Hornady's. -
the rod is about 1/4" in diameter Lenght of sections: Approx A = 2 5/8" B = 2 1/4" C = 3 5/8" D = 1 1/4" less the weld and cross bar the tab is .60 wide, .90 high, .275 thick and tapers to .095

Yes it will. W/ an AR you will need about 9" to clear the ground when using a 30rd mag. You COULD use the BR w/ the 6-9" legs, but Harris bipods are the most stable/sturdy at their lowest setting.

Best way to attach cord to bipod

After some interest in my bipod flipper in this thread http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?...c=55814&hl=. I decided to take some detailed pics and post them here. There used to be a manufactured one, the only way now is to make one yourself (that i know of). One of my fellow shooters made mine. It doesnt look that hard to make. you could prob do the bends on a vise w/ some heat and you would need to have a welder. the main (lever) portion is about 10" long after all the bends are there. Its about 13" long as a straight rod. The cross section is 4" long. I checked the angles on a crappy protractor. They are close but not a perfect spec. (sry for the crappy numbers, i did it on paint w/ my laptop) Bipod flipper video

That and the doctors were saying that the wounds that were treated were consistant of an Assault Rifle. What the heck does that mean?

This whole situation just sucks. The Westroads Mall is about 1.5 miles from my home and i drive past it every day. I have a CCW permit, but i WILL NOT shop in stores that will not allow me to carry my gun. The signs on the door should read something like this:

What do you do for a living?
stingerjg replied to J-Ho's topic in Miscellaneous Topics That Do Not Fit in Any Other Forum
Building Maintenance in a local high school. Working on a degree for HVAC. -
i keep mine about 2.75lbs. It seems to have more feel on the reset. 1911/2011 triggers are so short anyway, it doesnt really matter to me if its super light or not.

New Build
stingerjg replied to sskp1's topic in Computers, Cameras, and Electronic Devices of Any Kind
Im working on one of my own right now. It will be a few more months till i have the funds to complete it. I currently have a single core laptop, its ok, but its getting slow. Here is what im planning on using: -680i SLI mobo from Nvidia -Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHz -CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800MHz -(2) Western Digital 500GB 7200 RPM -Western Digital Raptor 150GB 10,000 RPM -(2) EVGA GeForce 8600GT 512MB 128-bit GDDR2 -Windows XP Pro - Thermaltake 700W PSU -Antec Nine Hundred Case Im gonna get a 22" display and there are a few things i didnt incuded. Im looking at spending about $2k for the system. Im not really a gamer currently, so it will mostly be used for video editing and music. But the performance is there if i want to play some newer games -
For my open gun i have 2 x 170, 1 x 140 w/ extension, and 5 x140. I load them all the night b4 for a match. For my limited gun (M&P40) i have 3 x 140 and 2 x standard mags. Ill prob end up getting a few more for the limited gun.

Where to buy a comp for a non threaded barrel?
stingerjg replied to Z Rider's topic in Multi-gun Gear & Accessories
As far as i know there are only a few options for comps that attach to a non threaded barrel. SMITH ENTERPRISE makes one. but its not the best https://www.brownells.com/aspx/NS/store/Pro...BAN+COMPENSATOR you can also get a JP tank break but its only legal in open class. also it doesnt look like they stock it anymore. https://www.brownells.com/aspx/NS/store/Pro...COIL+ELIMINATOR Best bet is to send your barrel off to get threaded. You can get a comp attached and pinned to make it legal in your state. -
what lighter one are you using?

That looks really good, cant wait till it comes out.
