  1. Correct me if I am wrong, but it looks like in the 1st picture the bullet is touching the front of the mag. I run those MG bullets in my Springfield loaded and DW PM9 without any issues but I load short, as in 1.10. I also run Metalform 9, Wilson 9 rounders and Wilson ETM 10 rounders without any issues in both guns.
  2. That is why I have 1000 lbs of lead ingots in my garage from wheel weights and cast my own. Let the price of lead do what it wants.
  3. I shoot lead almost exclusively in my CZ 85. Prefer 125 LRN and 124g LTC. I find they run and shoot great at 1.10 OAL.
  4. Do not let Gman spoil your accomplishment at making these very nice looking bullets. WELCOME!!! to this forum. What lead bullet are you casting to make the cores? I have more time on my hands than I know what to do with and have many 9mm cases I can play with. Corbin dies?
  5. It will work just fine in 40 S&W with that combo.
  6. It is a club that I hope has as few members as possible.
  7. I use them with my GAP magwell and do not have a problem
  8. My cost are down to 1.46 per 50 rounds of LRN bullets. I cast my own with free or very cheap lead. Brass is basically free Primers were approx $15/k Powder $10
  9. Maybe some skate board tape on the front strap for extra grip, other than that you should be good to go.
  10. My finger comes down from the top onto the trigger. So with a curved trigger I just did not get the right feel on my finger tip. With the flat trigger I can get the same contact point nearly everytime and I feel I have better trigger control with this set up. At least with the SVI system you can try different styles without having to break the entire gun down to do it.
  11. I have the SVI short flat on all my pistols. It just feels right to me.
  12. I highly recommend the 1st on listed. It is heavy duty and straight. You will not have to worry about it anymore.
  13. I run LEE 122 TC hand cast with Mecgar and Wilson mags and do not have any problems in my Springfield. I only load out to OAL 1.10 though.
  14. Also seems that the owner of Gpal was arrested for impersonating a police officer a while back. type in "gpal feedback" in google and the 1st link should take you to all the infromation you want to know about what is going on at Gpal.
  15. I have since sold my spartan because of some bills that needed to get payed. I had it set up with the Gap Magwell and was running Wilson ETM mags with it with out any problems. A good gunsmith should be able to tune the trigger with out changing any parts. I had 8 and 10 lb recoil springs but prefered the 10 lb one.
  16. Mustang grapes are totally different form muscadine grapes.
  17. I do love cold homemade muscadine wine that I made last year. 14% ETOH. Will definetely make you feel good after drinking a bottle.
  18. 5 miles past the Hampton heading North would bring you to Boudreaux's in Chackbay. Very good home cooked food. There is also LaPalma Mexican on Hwy 1 that has a 5lb burrito challenge. The Frost Stop, near the match hotel, has the best sloppy roast beef sandwhiches in town. "That Place" resturant on Hwy 1 south of town has god food. Bubba's on Hwy 308 is good and has a good sports bar too.
  19. The factory mag break plates will wear and break. Angus sells a much thicker / better one that will not break. Mine broke from wear at the Gator Classic last year and I have found some information on the net about this being a small problem.
  20. This is a song by a band called Southdown, out of New Orleans, called Angel. To me it is the best tribute song and video out there.
  21. Here is tribute video, from a band out of New Orleans, called Southdown, in tribute to all our military personnel. One of the best ones I have seen. I have no affilation with them, but I downloaded their album from Itunes this morning and there is not a bad song on it.
  22. Because Kelly was the weakest link in the team, so that is why they voted him in. But wait, how many people has he sent home? That is right, a crap load of them. i am liking this kid more and more.
