Picked it up yesterday. Shoots great but upon further inspection I noticed the hole for the thumb safety on the left side is actually oblong. This is my fourth Springfield and the first time I have seen this.

I would like to remove the recoil-master and install a standard guide rod and spring. Will a commander rod work with the existing reverse plug and what weight spring should I buy??

I was planning on using Tripp 10 round mags.

Anybody here getting their 9mm Target model to feed Truncated Cone (flat point) bullets??? I have a few thousand projectiles that I was given and would like to use them for IDPA.
