  1. Absolutely. Fish Oil is one of the only things I supplement my diet with. Fantastic natural anti inflammatory that is impossible to OD on. I usually take 3000 mgs with each meal.
  2. Absolutely. Improvement will happen almost as a byproduct if you are paying attention. You need to create a condition that requires the body to adapt to improve - but moreso, you need to create an environment friendly to adaptation by paying attention.
  3. Yep...instead of trying to cherry pick a stage to start on, I'd just work on my ability to perform while cold. At your next local match, try going first on every stage. I did that for about a year....shooting cold no longer bothers me at all.
  4. Nope...saying to cut out processed foods. Lean meat, vegetables, nuts, seeds, some fruit, little starch, no sugar.
  5. I would probably try curbing some of the potatoes and eliminate grains. Most breads and pastas and such tend to promote inflammation quite a bit.
  6. North, What's your average diet consist of?
  7. I don't think you have any idea of the magnitude of the slippery slope you are on JK...
  8. Just make sure when you set up for an array that if you drew two imaginary lines from heel to toe to berm - all targets you are shooting from that position are within those two lines.
  9. Don't have much time - but at a glance, the only glaring issue was in the first shooting position, you had to shuffle your feet in order to engage all the targets. Make sure you get all the targets within your stance when setting up.
  10. Maybe you should consider holding onto the gun Nancy. Love ya Knuckles.
  11. The widely accepted 10 general physical skills are: Cariovascular endurance, strength, stamina, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, accuracy, agility, and balance. The first 4 are organic (measurable). The last 4 are neurological. Power and speed are equal parts both. In terms of what we do in practical shooting, I believe that the vast majority of our skill level and improvement comes from neurological gains. I'll probably get a lot of flak for this one, but I'll put myself on record here and now saying that I don't think it is possible to improve your shooting ability if you are calling 100% of your shots accurately. In matches, that's exactly what you should be doing. In practice, you need to be pushing the envelope if you want to grow and adapt.
  12. I don't think a single person here believes he should get a pass because he's a "sports celeb." This could just as easily have been some average joe that made a few mistakes. Just because he's a high paid athlete does NOT mean he should fry - regardless of how horrible and lawless you assume he is. Bottom line is, it's too damn easy to judge someone looking from the outside in - ESPECIALLY when you have already made up your mind the instant you catch wind of it....No one here knows the real reason why he did what he did. Saying he's a overpaid pimp who wants to play big man is more than just an ignorant statement...unless of course you personally know him and have talked with him on the matter. But somehow I doubt you have. Why don't we try and keep this to facts as much as possible.
  13. They do that to take weight off the slide - normally for cycling purposes...not to make the gun as a whole lighter. Welcome back brah.
  14. Off the top of my head: First Aid Kit Knife Metal Match Tinder Iodine Tablets Signaling Mirror Para Cord Compass Topographic Map (if I know where I'll be) Poncho Flashlight Gun
  15. Depending on dates, time, money, etc.. - I'd definitely be up for shooting it and getting laughed at by all the Revo masters here.
  16. God forbid we actually reward performance....
  17. Everything you do stems back to the Fundamentals. Calling your shot is also the most important thing to learn how to do. Do nothing else until you have developed this skill.
  18. Damn. Homeboy can drive....
