  1. No only the 180's. Once it is broken in I will give some 200's a whirl!
  2. None that I can think of. The only way to experience and understand shooting at speed is shooting at speed. Are there matches held there and are they restricted by the same rule?
  3. Nope that is not what I said at all but, as you already have, feel free to parse it anyway you want. And just to help you out: moot mo͞ot/ adjective 1. subject to debate, dispute, or uncertainty, and typically not admitting of a final decision. "whether the temperature rise was mainly due to the greenhouse effect was a moot point" synonyms: debatable, open to discussion/question, arguable, questionable, at issue, open to doubt, disputable, controversial, contentious, disputed, unresolved, unsettled, up in the air "a moot point"
  4. Think of it like schrodinger's cat. The box has yet to be opened. Once the BoD opens it then we will know.
  5. Then what do I do with the SP01's I just picked up?
  6. There are NO FACTS about PO it is just an idea. The topic is MOOT and the fact that you think there is some sort of FACTS in this discussion is laughable. What a reasonable person knows is that PO DOES NOT EXIST yet period.
  7. I can't believe you make a comparison between a cosmological fact in gravity to a proposed division PO that does not exist in any reality! The fact is production optics DOES NOT EXIST! Gravity does! Your own argument supports the epic fail in said argument. Opinion is the only thing that matters in this discussion because PO DOES NOT EXIST and no matter how much you argue that you are correct and others are wrong it is still conjecture and other opinions are just as valid. The fact that the arguments you don't like that are being made over and over PROVES that they are valid to those making them. You don't agree so they must be invalid which in itself is again just YOUR OPINION! I will leave you with this, I have already acquiesced to the idea of a provisional division, earlier in this thread, to see if there will be the participation levels to make it permanent and if so great if not then great. But until then ALL opinions are valid. Just like yours.
  8. More ad hominem attacks eh? The "If you don't agree with me or I don't like your arguments so don't post" is no way to have a discussion and just goes to further discount anything useful you might have to say. Really to bad you are so myopic.
  9. Thank you sir! I am going to steal some more form ya too!
  10. You can not buy SVI frames or AET barrels they only use those on in-house builds so no matter what it will not be a complete SVI unless built by SVI.
  11. Thanks dudes! The dust cover angle I took from one of Glenn's designs and it does set off the ball cuts. Getting the cocking serrations cut at the same angle as the dust cover was a challenge. I am not sure what I am going to do to the top. Either serrations or some tasty ball cuts. I also like the look of fake ports on the barrel. I have not made a decision on the CAM app. I goofed with Bobcad and it is robust and powerful but a little cumbersome. I have Dolphin but have yet to try it out. I may be delaying the software purchase as I just picked up few guns and blew the budget. But I think steel is better than bits. :-P Don't know much about geomagic but I would be curious to know what you think. I have not put it on the scale complete but I will tonight and post here. It is heavy!
  12. Little more to to do yet but shot it this weekend. What a tack driver! Still real tight and needs some more tuning but it's going to be a really nice shooter. Very heavy yet so soft.
  13. No it does not apply to me. And according to the link you provided they use Cookies for tracking not the GCLID. Visitor clicks on an affiliate link on your site or in an email. The visitors IP is logged and a cookie is placed in their browser for tracking purposes. The visitor browses our site, and may decide to order. If the visitor orders (the order need not be placed during the same browser session--cookies are expire 30days after click through), the order will be registered as a sale for you. We will review and approve the sale. You will receive commission payouts on the 1st of every month (if your balance is at least $100) via PayPal. But I am being pedantic I will just end this with...Meh.
  14. Is that your referral code on the end of the URL? If you're trying to get commissions for driving sales to the Pivothead site, it would be nice to at least be up front about it. No I just googled Pivot head and posted a link. Think what you want but if you had read the thread you would have seen that I use a Sony Action Cam. If it will make you feel better I will edit my post as to not cause you anymore butt hurt. (Too late no longer editable.) And to add how do you know it is a referral code? All I see is a query string URL that could perform any number of functions I.E versioning for caching purposes, If your computer foo is so great please enlighten me... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Query_string Nevermind I did the work for you. If you break down the URL and the Query terms you will find the answer. pivothead.com/?gclid=CNvBrdymgsACFYVDMgodB2oAPA gclid=CNvBrdymgsACFYVDMgodB2oAPA "Gclid is a globally unique tracking parameter (Google Click Identifier) used by Google to pass information back and forth between Google AdWords and Google Analytics. If you enable URL auto tagging in Google AdWords, Google will append a unique ?gclidparameter on your destination URLs at run-time. Because it is a redirect, you won't see any gclid parameters on your ad words text ad destination url's, but it will show up in your Web server log files. Auto tagging was introduced in 2004 and is on by default in any Google AdWords accounts." Looks like your foo needs some work.
  15. There is no comparison. Shay uses other manufacturers parts and builds a gun. SVI machines EVERY part and manufactures a one off custom. Apples and oranges. If money is no object SVI.
  16. Where is the actual camera lens on the sunglasses? I am right eye dominant and my concern is that if the camera lens is at the center of the sunglasses, would the video always look like the gun is pointing at the wrong direction? http://shop.pivothead.com/?gclid=CNvBrdymgsACFYVDMgodB2oAPA
  17. The Go Pro Sony Action Cam Pivot Head Glasses Seem to be the most popular but it is a crowded space with many good options. I went with the Sony because of the quality of the optics (Zeiss) and the form factor. They all have functional parity so it comes down to price and form factor. YMMV
  18. Super sick and messed up game. So FRICKEN FUN!
  19. A year ago and I sold hm my SDB. He is now shooting matches regularly and starting to get better along with teaching his son how to shoot and reload so the cycle continues.
