Two suppressors, two sbr’s and two sbs’s, all under 35 days each form 1’d using efile. Call the NFA branch m-f, they’ve always been helpful and quick to get through to a person to get status on a submission.

I checked with Carne but their 12 months out im planning an Atlas Athena-style build with Gans, when he slows down a bit.
-
Yes you need to have it engraved. On both of mine, I have my full name, then city, and state. All that’s needed. mine are located on the inside top of the trigger area.

Thanks man! Those pics dont it justice. Ill post more tonight. Trigger is consistent 1 lb 14oz. Running a few hundred more rounds this week, then disassembling and off to @evolutionarmory for full DLC. Gary is the best...like I said...in less than two days of receiving parts to him, he fit, blended, tuned everything, and test fired for $620 -
Spray it down with Hornady one shot?

From a box of parts (atlas, egw and cheely) to a complete race ready gun two days later… Gary Natale of Gans Guns in PA is pretty amazing. He’s built three previously for me. This is the first one with mostly Atlas and Cheely parts as well as a steel grip. Less than the cost of a staccato p duo.

Thanks for that I dont mind the sharpness as I have pretty tough hands, but I could always take something to them if need be to break the edges a bit.

from a few pics Ive notice there’s what seems to be cylinders visible from the side of the slide. I assume those are some sort of proprietary mounting solution to allow the rmr screws to grab more threads in the slide cut?
-
Thanks for this! Unfortunately the extra space in front of the optic is what lead me to not want a multi optic mount.
-
Are yours not running a plate, simply mounted directly to the slide?
-
Looking to have my shadow 2 machined for an optic (either a dpp or rmr) and see there quite a few “methods” of getting the dot to mount to the slide. I’ve narrowed it down to: Primary Machine Cajun Gunworks Fire for Effect Ive seen a few methods in which there are clearly exposed threads from the mounting screws. Does anyone have experience with any of the above shops?

Highly recommend Gary at Gans Guns. Great work, quick turnaround, and good pricing. I’ve had three guns by him now. 1 open and two limited 2011s -
