  1. Ti-driver, There is tons of load info in the forums here. Especially for a powder like titegroup. Do a search. I ran Montana Gold 115's at 1.14 on top of 4 grs. of Titegroup for a PF of 125, out of a Trojan. You should probably bump that a .1 at my oal for a little wiggle room. Good Luck, Butch
  2. This is how I do it now. Cobbled this together from copier parts. The brass spins around, I put the sharpie in the extractor groove and give it a flick. Butch
  3. 3.5 under a Bear Creek at 1.14 oal. Shot from STI Trojan 146PF, no signs of over pressure. Accuracy was horrible, 2" at 15yds. Butch
  4. ... will be cosidered. Note: New content is updated every 15 minutes. So if you post somewhere, it may not appear in VNC until 15 minutes later. Complete, accurate feedback is the only we are going to track this down. Thanks, be I'm set to show me all content that I have not read, and it is working accurately and cosistently for me. Not working here after following post. Haven't been on since this AM and get nothing new in VNC. IE8 Butch
  5. Perhaps my situation is unique, I don't know. I have rydons with red photochromic, and grey lenses. I always get a reflection on the inside of the lenses which proves to be quite annoying. Also, both pair of lenses have broken on the inside corner where they mount to the frame. I have been swapping oakley lenses for years without problems. I spoke with a couple of people about the broken lenses, including Rudy customer service, and nobody seems to want to take care of the situation as I think they should. Sure the lens replacement program is pretty good, but I see no reason to keep throwing money at them. YMMV Butch
  6. I regret getting rid of my mframes for rydons. The mframes were the best sunglasses I ever had. I wore them for probably 10 plus years, then fell to the marketing and hype of Rudys. Butch
  7. Thanks for picking up on that. Butch
  8. Hey Heretic, Welcome. Come on out to Pima Pistol Club, bring your gear, we'll get you on the right track. Butch edited to correct link
  9. Thanks Brian Your link has been added. Butch www.pimapistolclub.com
  10. You really don't need a manual for your electronic gadgets, just give them to your kid for an hour or so and they have it all figured out. Butch
  11. I don't believe there are any restrictions on rimfires. optics=rim open irons=rim iron Butch
  12. Although I have no distortion with rydons, I do get a reflection from the inside of the lens. This doesn't seem to be specific to me, as a friend of mine also gets the same thing. At times I can see part of my eye or eyelashes, and other times just a non-descript reflection. It gets kind of annoying at times. I do not wear them anymore. Butch
  13. 15k rounds on my LNL with no problems. I did have problems with the 9mm ejection, but now use a .40 shell plate, and all is well. I have wondered why there aren't pages and pages of tips and tricks on forums about the LNL. Guess when it works out of the box, you don't need them. Butch
  14. The Trojan will absolutely fit in the box without the magwell. It will also fit with the STI magwell and a couple of others. I can't speak for the M&P, but I would assume that the slide is too long. Butch
  15. Thanks for your response. That was the only thing in question, everything else was fine. Thanks, Butch
  16. Shot a stage at a local match this weekend that consisted of 4 poppers in 1 array, 1 popper set alone, and 3 paper targets partially covered by no shoots. WSB said roughly: ....engage paper targets with 2 to the body and 1 to the head. Stand alone popper is to be shot last. One of the shooters on the squad said it was an illegal stage since the paper targets had no "necklaces" (black tape to seperate head from body). It did not matter to me, as I shot the stage as the WSB stated. Nor did I have a rule book with me to question his statement. After reading through the book a couple times, I see nothing to support that statement. Is it true? Could somebody point me in the right direction? Thanks, Butch
  17. You might try placing some Dyna-mat on the outside of the bowl. It will kill a lot of noise. Butch
  18. I don't think the conversion kits are all that expensive. Even if they were as much as $50.00, it would seem worth the price. Butch
  19. Honestly, shaving with a straight razor scares the hell out of me. There doesn't seem to be much room for error. If things go wrong it could get ugly. I use one of the 4 blade razors in the shower. I have a really sensitive face (awwww) that gets irritated from shaving, so I ususally only do it about 2 times a week. It seems the longer I wait to shave, the closer and less irritating it is. Butch
  20. Love the Lanolin. A little dab'll do ya. Butch
  21. You can also try running some graphite through there. It helped mine. Butch
