Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I cleaned and setup a brand new Hornady Lock n Load powder measure (bench mounted) per the video instruction on the Hornady web site. Took it apart and used Hornady One Shot gun cleaner & lube on all parts, well dried before reassembly. Just like on the video. Now I'm getting powder flakes (WSF) sticking to the inside of the tube, feed chamber, and drop tube. I can wipe the flakes off, but they look like they are being held by static charge. I'm going to disassemble the powder measure, but how should I clean and prep it? Thanks!
  2. Well, with some carefully applied torque (and a little luck), I was able to unscrew the press bushing. On inspection, the threads near the top of the bushing were mangled (did I mention it was a brand new press) and were jamming the bushing. Now I just need to wait for the replacement bushing.
  3. After setting up a new Hornady LNL Classic, I had the bottom of one of the press (female) bushing lugs shear off while depriming/resizing brass. This caused the inserted die to move up slightly under pressure. Hornady customer service has a couple in the mail for replacement. However, I'm having problems getting the damaged bushing out of the press body. Anyone had to change out this bushing? What tool did you use to loosen it up? Thanks!
