  1. How well does that texture paint hold up when painted on rubber? I was just wondering, they came out really nice. Have you ever painted a set like that before or is this your first? thanks
  2. Will Hennings tight fit slide stop pin work on all eaa's? I have the elite limited and want to get rid of the slide locking back but the barrel locks up really tight now. I was just afraid that with hennings pin being oversized it might be to tight? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
  3. I'm not really sure of a website where you can order one from. You might try Eaa's website www.eaacorp.com. I've got the one that came with my elite limited 40 that I would be willing to sell. If you can't find one and are interested just send me a pm.
  4. Here are a few. I took more but couldn't get the camera to focus right on the others. I use a two part epoxy from the auto store that says titanium on it. It's grey and sets up really fast. After the epoxy starts to set up(in ab out 5 min with the stuff I use) I trim whatever squeezes up from the top of the magwell with a razor knife. I let it set up over night then blend the magwell with the inside of the grip frame with a dremel tool and sanding drum attachment. Then finish it off with sandpaper working down to about 400 grit. So far no problems with it coming loose after several months of use.
  5. It's pretty easy to epoxy it on with some two part epoxy you can get from an automotive store. I've done two of them now and I'll take some pics here in a minute and post them up.
  6. Does anyone know if the blade-tech dropped offset holster for the match will also fit the new match with the rail? Thanks
  7. I've been using the Lee u die for a long time now probably 5,000 rounds or more in two different witness 40's with no nose-diving issues what so ever. I also use hennings basepads, springs and followers with 10mm mags that I got from Henning. Loaded to 1.175 to 1.18 OAL I've had no nose dives with this combination so you might want to try the Lee u die route first.
  8. Very nice looking. Did you do your own extended mag release? I thought I read a while back that Henning was workin on one but I'm not really sure.
  9. Same thing here, been using the lee u die for a couple of years with no problems in my witness match and limited.
  10. You can get the slide from EAA's website www.eaacorp.com. I don't know about the frame though. Maybe contact Eaa.
  11. I'll try some grip tape between the two pieces and some blue lock tite. Thanks for the ideas.
  12. Just curious how you guys that use these keep them from moving. I've tightened mine several times (the screw in the middle of the mag pouch) and can't get them to stay put. Any help would greatly be appreciated.
  13. I've shot the match for a little over a year now. I went the "upgrade the match route" when I really wanted a limited, just didn't want to spend the money. After a friend of mine got a limited and let me shoot it, I ended up trading him another gun for it. For me the limited was more accurate. I couldn't say for sure it's because of the bull barrel, the weight difference, or a combination of the two, but it absolutely shoots more accurate than the match for me. Now I have a match laying around that won't get shot because of the limited. So looking back it would have been cheaper for me to get the limited first, and that is what I wish I would have done.
  14. Trigger sounds very interesting, maybe it will get rid of some of the slop that the factory trigger has.
  15. I've loaded about 8000 9mm so far and I get 1.155 to 1.165 when I've got my oal set to 1.160. I'm loading on a lee loadmaster. Seems to vary by bullet manufacturer also. I used to worry that this was to much deviation, but so far not one malfunction. Seems to be an acceptable variation.
  16. http://loadmastervideos.com/ This website has videos of how to set up the automatic case feeder and trouble shoot it. I know it's the loadmaster, but I think they are the same.
  17. They don't exist that I know of. . . . I bought one in October (for my Match) from a retailer, although the packaging was marked correctly, Tanfoglio had apparently shipped small frame conversions in large frame packaging. EAA was aware of the issue, I returned mine to EAA end of October and it's now May and EAA still does not have replacement in from Tanfo. . . . good luck and if you hear anything different, pls let me know. Thats disapointing to hear. I was really hoping I could find something. I'm almost out of small pistol primers and really want to keep practicing with my match.
  18. Can anyone tell me where the best place to get a 22 caliber conversion for an elite match would be? Or would I have to just call eaa? Also wondering if anyone here has experience with one of these and how reliable they are? thanks
  19. Cha-Lee If you don't mind me asking what kind or loads are you using with that 10.75 lb spring. kind of powder, grains, etc.... thanks
